My Buccaneers vs. Bears touchdown scorer picks for Sunday Night Football target Colston Loveland and Chris Godwin Jr. Though the Bears lead the NFL in rushing touchdowns, the Buccaneers lead the league in rushing touchdowns allowed. As a result, I'm backing the Bears to do most of their scoring through the air.

The Bears are a 6-point betting favorite, with kickoff from Soldier Field in Chicago set for 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC).

Buccaneers vs. Bears touchdown scorer predictions

Best TD pick: Colston Loveland to score anytime touchdown (+165 via BetMGM)

After a slow start to the season, Loveland has caught a touchdown in two of his last three games. He also has at least six catches for 57 yards in four of his last five contests, and I expect him to continue to get opportunities on Sunday night.

The Buccaneers have only allowed three rushing touchdowns this season, but they've allowed 10 passing touchdowns. Tight ends caught five of those passing touchdowns. Not only have the Buccaneers allowed the seventh-most touchdowns to tight ends, but they've also allowed 43 receptions and 449 yards to the position.

📡 SBR Edge

The Bears only have eight passing touchdowns this season, but Caleb Williams has thrown at least one touchdown in four of his five games. Over the last three weeks, all of Williams' touchdown passes have been to either Loveland or Luther Burden III.

Long-shot TD pick: Chris Godwin Jr. to score first Buccaneers touchdown (+850 via BetMGM)

Buccaneers receiver Emeka Egbuka is questionable for Sunday night, but even if he plays, it's worth taking a shot on Godwin to score first for Tampa Bay. Godwin hasn't caught a touchdown this season, but he leads the team with 243 receiving yards, and his 27 receptions are just one behind Egbuka's team-high 28.

The Bears have allowed only six rushing touchdowns this season. However, they've allowed 13 passing touchdowns, which is tied for the 11th-most in the NFL. Bears opponents' first touchdown has been through the air in four of Chicago's last five games.
