Buccaneers vs. Bears best prop bet: Baker Mayfield Under 18.5 completions (-105)
Follow all of our NFL analysis and betting advice for the 2026 NFL season.
Baker Mayfield will have a hard time exceeding 18.5 completions against a Bears defense that allows the third-fewest completions per game (17.9). A big reason for that is Chicago keeps its defense off the field with the NFL's best average time of possession on offense.
Even when the Bucs do possess the football, this offense now runs through Bucky Irving. I wouldn't expect Mayfield to suddenly have a prolific night throwing the football after completing just seven passes total across the last two weeks.
I like this bet for a half-unit at -105, but there's value up to -116.
📡 SBR Edge: Baker taking a backseat
Mayfield is averaging a career-low 13.6 completions per game this season.
More Buccaneers vs. Bears prop picks
D'Andre Swift Over 65.5 rushing yards (-114)
I anticipate another heavy-usage game for Bears' bell-cow D'Andre Swift, especially with backfield mate Kyle Monangai likely out again.
Swift has averaged 18.5 carries in the last four games without Monangai, by far the lion's share of carries for Chicago and one of the highest averages in the league.
That's why I'm backing Swift to exceed his rushing yards prop, especially in what profiles as a Bears victory as Chicago looks to run out the clock late. I also love combining this play with a Swift anytime TD at FanDuel for a 2-leg parlay at +184 odds.
Play to: 67.5 rushing yards (-104)
💰️ Buccaneers vs. Bears SNF prediction
I broke down this week's Sunday Night Football matchup in further detail in my Buccaneers vs. Bears prediction, including providing best bets on the point spread and total.
Colston Loveland Over 52.5 receiving yards (-114)
After a slow start to the campaign, Bears tight end Colston Loveland has looked more like what we expected following his impressive 2025 rookie season.
Loveland has gone Over this number in three of his last four games. That includes averaging more than 66 receiving yards per game since Caleb Williams returned to the lineup.
He'll also continue to receive even more snaps after Cole Kmet was lost for the season. I bet a half-unit on Loveland to finish with Over 52.5 receiving yards at FanDuel, which offers the best line and odds on this player prop.
Play to: Over 54.5 receiving yards (-112)
