The Dallas Mavericks face the Boston Celtics tonight in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, and we have you covered with our top Mavericks vs. Celtics parlay predictions based on the best NBA odds.

For the first time since 2011, the Dallas Mavericks are in the NBA Finals. The Boston Celtics last appeared in the Finals in 2022, when they lost to the Golden State Warriors in six games. Those two meet tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET (ABC) for Game 1 at TD Garden in Boston.

Throughout the season, the Celtics have maintained their status as the favorites in the NBA championship odds, a position they hold as they enter Game 1 as 6.5-point favorites. However, Boston's success hinges on their ability to contain Luka Doncic, the leader of the Dallas squad and one of the frontrunners in the NBA Finals MVP odds.

We should get a thrilling battle between two storied franchises hungry for another taste of glory.

Along with our NBA Finals expert picks and Mavericks vs. Celtics player props, here are our best Mavericks vs. Celtics parlay predictions for Game 1.

SGP predictions for Mavericks vs. Celtics

Luka Doncic Over 3.5 made 3-pointers ⭐⭐⭐⭐

There's a reason we're slotting Doncic No. 1 in our NBA Finals MVP odds power rankings. He's the best player in the series, and Doncic continues to make a case that the guard is the NBA's best player, too.

He's been so dominant that his odds to hit Over 3.5 threes are too short to bet straight, making this prop perfect for the opening leg of a Game 1 SGP. The -155 odds imply a 60.78% probability that Doncic hits at least four threes, according to our odds converter.

Doncic has been splashing from the deep end like a kid whose parents have finally given him the green light to remove his water wings. He's hit at least four threes in four straight games and six of his last seven. The veteran is averaging 4.6 made 3-pointers per game on 45.7% shooting during that stretch.

See our C Jackson Cowart's Luka Doncic odds and player props for more on the Mavericks star.

Jayson Tatum to record a double-double ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Every day there seems to be a prominent figure in sports media putting down Jayson Tatum's playoff performance. He's been undoubtedly struggling as a 3-point shooter. But Tatum is playing well otherwise, and I don't think any Bostonian is complaining.

Tatum is leading a Boston team that's 12-2 in the postseason, and he's pacing the squad in most offensive categories, including points per game (26.0) and rebounds per game (10.4). He's been a double-double machine, and the odds for him to record one haven't dipped to longer than -135 in weeks.

These odds only imply a 57.45% probability he'll finish with a double-double in Game 1, despite Tatum recording one in 11 of 14 playoff games (78.6%). That makes this leg of the SGP a great value, especially with power forwards averaging 24.6 points and 10.6 rebounds against Dallas during 2023-24.

Derrick White Over 1.5 steals + blocks ⭐⭐⭐⭐

A handful of potential future Hall of Famers will be taking to the court in the NBA Finals. That includes Doncic and Kyrie Irving, along with Tatum and Jaylen Brown. But White is the series X-factor. He's a 3-and-D superstar and has been ridiculously disruptive in the playoffs.

White has been so impactful defensively that the odds for him to go Over 1.5 steals and blocks (-190) imply a 65.52% probability. He's been consistent during the playoffs while putting up 2.2 per game, which comes after doing the same during the regular season.

However, he's been even better lately. White averaged 4.3 combined steals during the Eastern Conference finals and has gone Over 1.5 in five straight outings. This prop brings the SGP to +350, implying a 22.22% probability each leg hits with a $10 bet paying a $35 profit.

Mavericks-Celtics SGP picks made Wednesday at 10:20 p.m. ET.
