Trail Blazers vs. Lakers best bet
Trail Blazers +3.5 (-110 via theScore Bet)
The Trail Blazers beat the Lakers 136-129 in Portland Oct. 27. However, I'm not too concerned with that result since Ja Morant played 31 minutes, so we're playing a different game this time around (Morant is still sidelined with a hamstring injury).
The main driver of this bet is that the Trail Blazers rank third out of 15 teams in the West with a 10.4 net rating, compared to the Lakers, who rank fifth with an 8.2 net rating. Making the Lakers a 3.5-point favorite over the Trail Blazers seems aggressive, especially since L.A. ranks 11th in the West in defensive rating and relies on Luka Doncic to save the day almost every game.

Trail Blazers vs. Lakers player props
Damian Lillard Over 21.5 points (-102 via Pinnacle)
The Lakers are among the worst defenses in the West, so I'm directionally looking to play Overs on Trail Blazers players. Deni Avdija attempted the most field goals in the last meeting between these teams, but there's no edge on his line at 23.5 points.
Damian Lillard, however, attempted 12 field goals in that meeting and scored 21 points. While this line is slightly higher than that result, he'll be playing without Morant in the backcourt this time, which should give him more touches. Lillard is averaging 15.0 field-goal attempts per game since Morant was injured.

Luka Doncic Over 34.5 points (-118 via DraftKings)
We cashed on Doncic Over 33.5 points (-115) against the Kings Wednesday, and while the market obviously had to react to his 40-point performance, I don't believe we've moved enough to find the fair line.
Doncic has been a historic scorer since entering the league, but the combination of him dropping weight in the offseason, LeBron James moving to Philadelphia, and Walker Kessler being a lob threat (so bigs have a hard time doubling) has led him to enter a flow state. He has scored 37 or more points in six straight games. It's a square bet, but I believe it'll hit at a greater-than-54.13% clip.
