Miami vs. Notre Dame Prediction: Week 10 Odds, Picks & Best Bet (Nov. 7)

Saturday's marquee matchup is a prime-time tilt between the nation's top-ranked program and another highly-ranked opponent seeking its first statement win as I make my Miami vs. Notre Dame prediction.
No. 1 Miami, led by the country's top quarterback, Darian Mensah, will be playing without star wideout Malachi Toney. No. 11 Notre Dame has a lot to prove, losing its only ranked game against No. 9 BYU a few weeks ago. Notre Dame is a -7.5 point betting favorite at home from Notre Dame Stadium in Notre Dame, Ind., ahead of Saturday's 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff (NBC).

Miami +7.5 (-118 via DraftKings)
Despite playing without Toney, Miami is still a bonafide offense to face for any defense. Mensah has ridiculous efficiency metrics during his first year with the Hurricanes, recording an 80.7 percent completion rate with 2,425 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 1 interception.
RB Mark Fletcher Jr. will be tasked with a bigger workload than normal without Toney. His production on the ground was a big reason for Miami's run to the National Championship Game last season, and in 2026, Fletcher has 4.9 YPC for 9 touchdowns.
Notre Dame's defense has top-5 scoring metrics but they have only played one ranked opponent. BYU has also not looked that impressive in conference play, so its an increasingly bad loss for the Fighting Irish.
Notre Dame QB CJ Carr has looked solid this year, but this will be his biggest test against Miami's 21st-ranked defense. They just gave up 4 passing touchdowns to North Carolina but have not allowed more than 1 rushing touchdown in any game, limiting 6 of 8 opponents to under 3.0 YPC.
+7.5 points is simply too much overreaction to Toney's absence. This ballooned up from Miami +3.5, so let's take advantage of getting a full touchdown on the nation's top-ranked scoring offense.
Bet Miami +7.5 at -118 odds on DraftKings.
📡 SBR Edge: Numbers Don't Lie
Notre Dame has played 7 of 8 opponents with either an offense or defensive unit ranked outside the top 80 in the FBS.
Mensah puts on a show to keep Miami undefeated
Mensah has been a tactician from the pocket in 2026. Miami's quarterback doesn't make mistakes and has ridiculous accuracy, so missing one player shouldn't do much to his production or psyche.
Notre Dame's schedule has been objectively soft. Now, they have to beat the nation's top-ranked offense by more than a touchdown, while also trying to overcome a top-25 defense. Mensah and Miami do enough to remain unbeaten during a cold night in Indiana on Saturday.
Play to: Miami -2.5
Score prediction: Miami 27, Notre Dame 24
