Two SEC programs are looking to prove their legitimacy with a win Saturday as I make my Oklahoma vs. Florida prediction.

Oklahoma's offense ranks outside the top 100 in scoring among FBS teams this year, while No. 24 Florida is expected to make a quarterback change, returning to Tramell Jones Jr. The Gators are a 5.5-point betting favorite, with kickoff from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Fla., set for 7:45 p.m. ET (SEC Network).

Florida -5.5 (-114 via bet365)

The Gators' inability to get consistent play at quarterback will lead them back to Jones as QB1. He helped lead Florida to a big road win over Texas, throwing for 2 touchdowns and no interceptions, while adding 41 rushing yards to beat the Longhorns 27-24.

Oklahoma's defense is reeling, allowing South Carolina to hang over 200 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns at home in Norman in Week 9. QB John Mateer has improved lately, throwing for 240+ passing yards and 2 touchdowns in consecutive starts for Oklahoma, but his defense has been a liability.

Florida's scoring defense is outside the top 100 but that's a bit misleading. The Gators did give up 38+ points to Auburn, South Carolina, and Missouri earlier this season. However, lately, they have held Texas and Georgia to 318 total yards of offense or less, which is impressive.

The switch back to Jones from Aaron Philo, paired with star RB Jadan Baugh, gives the Gators a bit of momentum returning home. Plus, Oklahoma's defense, normally its strength, is trending down.

Bet Florida -5.5 at -114 odds on bet365.

📡 SBR Edge: Swamp Chomp

Florida has covered -5.5 in 3 of 4 home games, including a signature 52-28 win over No. 10 Ole Miss in Week 4.

Baugh and Jones roll Sooners' deflated defense in Gainesville

The last time Florida dominated a conference opponent at home, Baugh and Duke Clark combined for nearly 300 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns. Jones has confidence from his big win over Texas a couple of weeks ago, which should have a positive impact on the rest of the Gators' offense.

Oklahoma has not played well on the road in conference play. The Sooners' only road win came against a bad Mississippi State defense that was missing star QB Kamario Taylor. Florida has good personnel and an improved defense, so expect both sides to roll against Oklahoma at home on Saturday night.

Play to: Florida -7 (+100)

Score prediction: Florida 38, Oklahoma 20
