Each side has a key offensive weakness that limits their potential in this matchup. For the 76ers, it's their poor 3-point shooting. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers' lack of secondary scoring beyond Donovan Mitchell has been an issue. That includes James Harden - more on that later.

Maxey went off for 32 points in the previous matchup against the Cavaliers' bottom-10 scoring defense. I love that BetMGM's 24.5-point total gives us a few points of wiggle room compared to Maxey's season average (28 PPG). I wagered at -115 odds, but there's value playing up to -120 at that total.

James Harden Under 24.5 points + assists (-104 via FanDuel)
James Harden's falloff has been a concerning early storyline for Cleveland. The former NBA MVP's shooting, scoring, and assist averages are well down compared to what we saw from him after joining the Cavaliers last season. Even playing in the friendly confines of Rocket Arena, Harden is averaging 22.3 points + assists at home.
As I already explored in my best bet for this matchup, the 76ers have one of the league's elite defenses. That unit travels and is well-suited to limit Harden's production in this matchup. I wagered a half-unit on Harden to finish Under 24.5 points + assists at FanDuel's -104 odds.
