The never-dull career arc of Ja Morant has stayed true to its unpredictable reputation to start this season, but the star guard has managed to churn out some serviceable numbers thus far amid a bit of drama.

However, he’s mired in a serious shooting slump and is coming off a 3-for-18 night against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday. Morant is also having an utterly forgettable season from 3-point range so far (14.8% shooting), but two of the three buckets he registered versus OKC came from behind the arc.

In fact, Morant has drained at least a pair of 3-pointers on three occasions overall and is facing a Knicks squad on Tuesday that’s allowing 39.4% shooting from downtown. Morant was a career 31.6% 3-point shooter coming into this season, and while that figure is decidedly mediocre, there’s no question it’s still miles ahead of where his current outlier numbers stand.

At -102 odds on DraftKings, the bet has a 50.5% implied probability of cashing, and a $10 wager would net $9.80 in profit.

Jalen Brunson is enjoying a stellar start to the season, putting up strong numbers across the board, including his work as a facilitator, which features an average of 6.2 assists per contest.

Brunson has dished out seven or more dimes in three straight games and on five occasions overall. The Grizzlies also check in allowing an NBA-high 31 assists per contest and 50.4% shooting on the road.

New York is a big home favorite, with an implied team total of just under 121 points as of Tuesday morning, making Brunson’s case all the more appealing.

Karl-Anthony Towns has been working perfectly in concert with Brunson as one of the most prolific 1-2 punches in either conference. The talented big man is putting up 20.7 points and 12.7 rebounds per game, with the latter figure marking the second-highest of his career.

Towns has rattled off five consecutive double-doubles, cashing this prop on three occasions while coming just a point or rebound short in a fourth game.

The Grizzlies are also ranked in the bottom half of the league, allowing 54.6 rebounds per game, including 57 per contest across the last three. Additionally, the aforementioned 50%+ shooting Memphis is allowing on the road should enable Towns to extend his recent hot hand (51.9% shooting in the last three games).

At -117 odds on DraftKings, the bet has a 53.9% implied probability of cashing, and a $10 wager would net $8.55 in profit.
