My best Celtics vs. 76ers player props focus on Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and Jaylen Brown ahead of tonight’s 8 p.m. ET game at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia (NBC/Peacock). The 76ers are favored by 2.5 points.

⬇️ Joel Embiid player prop: Under 7.5 rebounds (-138) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

DraftKings’ price of -138, which implies a 57.98% chance that Embiid hits this Under, may scare some bettors away, but this might be the best prop of the entire NBA slate.

Embiid is averaging just 23.3 minutes per game, and he’s yet to grab more than seven rebounds in any of his six games this season. He’s averaging just 5.3 boards per contest, and he grabbed six rebounds in each of his previous two games against the Celtics this season. 

With limited minutes, Embiid won’t get enough chances to set a season high on the glass. A $10 bet at -138 odds would profit $7.25.

⬆️ Tyrese Maxey player prop: Over 35.5 points + assists (-117) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Maxey is averaging 33.2 points per game, second in the NBA, and he already has a 40-point performance against the Celtics. He’s scored at least 26 in every game this season, and he’s topped this combo prop with just points four times.

In the second meeting between the Celtics and 76ers, Maxey scored just 26, but he dished out 14 assists. He’s hit this Over in nine of 10 games, and though the Celtics rank second in scoring defense, he’s already proven himself against them twice. Considering all of this, I’d take this number as high as 37.5.

DraftKings’ price of -117 implies a 53.92% chance that this prop hits. A $10 bet would profit $8.55.

⬆️ Jaylen Brown player prop: Over 2.5 3-pointers made (+150) ⭐⭐⭐

Brown has shot terribly from deep in November, averaging just 0.8 makes per game in five contests. However, he shot at least 50% from deep in both of his games against the 76ers last month, knocking down four of his seven attempts in the most recent meeting. 

While the 76ers are allowing opponents to make just 34.8% of their 3-point attempts, which ranks eighth in the league, they’re giving up 13.3 made shots from beyond the arc, which ranks 16th. Brown is attempting 5.8 3-pointers per contest, and he’s averaging 5.1 more field-goal attempts than any other Celtic.

The price of +150 at BetMGM is what makes this prop worth the risk, as a $10 bet would profit $15. The odds imply a 40% chance this prop hits.
