The Cleveland Cavaliers suffered a rare home loss to the Indiana Pacers in their last game out, and Cleveland will look to get back on track as an 8.5-point favorite against its Central Division rival on Tuesday.

Our Cavaliers vs. Pacers NBA player prop picks and odds expect Jarrett Allen and Donovan Mitchell to have Cleveland playing like an NBA championship odds contender again.

We’re also looking for T.J. McConnell to step up in the absence of Tyrese Haliburton when the Cavaliers and Pacers tip off at 7 p.m. ET (TNT, truTV, Max) from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Best Cavaliers vs. Pacers prop predictions

Jarrett Allen prop pick: To record a double-double ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Allen is averaging 14.1 points and 10.2 rebounds per game across 29 minutes this season. He’s recorded a double-double in 22 of 38 matchups, good for 57.8%. We’re getting this prop at plus money, making it a solid value.

Allen has been on a roll over his last six with averages of 18.1 points, 11 rebounds, and six double-doubles. He posted an 11/9 line against the Pacers on Sunday, but he only logged 23 minutes in the blowout.

The Pacers have allowed opposing centers to average 22.1 points and 15.7 rebounds, and we can expect a bounce-back performance from Allen tonight as his team looks to get back in the win column following an ugly loss.

T.J. McConnell prop pick: Over 5.5 assists ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Tyrese Haliburton is likely to miss his first game of the season tonight, and McConnell could replace him in the starting five. That should mean a boost in minutes and assists, making this an easy Over pick.

McConnell logged 12 games without Hali last season, and he dished at least six assists in seven of those. He averaged 7.3 assists and saw his minutes increase to 22.6 per game.

McConnell is averaging just 4.6 assists per game this season, though he’s doing so in fewer than 20 minutes. In six seasons with the Pacers, he’s averaged 9.1 assists per 36 minutes. McConnell handed out eight assists in Sunday’s win over Cleveland, taking over as the primary playmaker after Haliburton left early.

Donovan Mitchell prop pick: Over 23.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Mitchell is averaging just 22.8 points per game this season, his fewest since his rookie campaign. Despite the dip in scoring, we can expect him to hit the Over tonight against Indiana.

Spida has averaged 31.1 points per game in seven matchups with the Pacers since arriving in Cleveland. That’s his third-highest scoring average against any team in that span. He’s hit the Over in five of those.

Mitchell scored only 19 in Sunday’s home tilt with Indiana, but he’s averaged only 21.8 points at home compared to 24.1 on the road this season. He’s scored at least 24 points in eight of 16 on the road, and he should be motivated to get his team back on track tonight.
