NBA Player Props Today: Best Prop Bets & Expert Picks for Tuesday

I like the value on Tyrese Maxey (-137) and Ajay Mitchell (+116) in Tuesday’s NBA player props and best bets.

Coming off a thrilling night in the Association, it’s time to do it all over again for my best NBA player props today on Tuesday.

I’m not sure if some of the statistical performances can be replicated from last night. That said, my NBA best bets are targeting some notable names: Jalen Brunson, Tyrese Maxey, Ajay Mitchell, and Nikola Jokic.

💰 Best NBA player props today

⬇️ Jalen Brunson player prop: Under 10.5 rebounds + assists (-124) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Head coach Mike Brown was hired to help make the New York Knicks' offense less revolved around Jalen Brunson. So far, the early results don’t suggest much of a change.

That’s best highlighted in Brunson’s passing stats. He’s averaging 6.2 assists, 13.3 potential dimes, and 65.6 passes per game this year. Last season, Brunson averaged 7.3 assists, 12.5 potential dimes, and 58.1 passes per contest.

Although I could take the plus-money price on the Under for Brunson’s assists prop, I prefer this combo line due to his limited rebounding (3.4) impact. He’s cleared this mark in only two of his nine games, and the Memphis Grizzlies have been more of a positive scoring matchup for opposing point guards to start this season.

Our Juan Carlos Blanco has another Brunson prop in his Grizzlies vs. Knicks player props.

⬆️ Tyrese Maxey player prop: Over 6.5 assists (-137) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

As long as Tyrese Maxey’s assists prop is set at 6.5, I’d jump on his Over before it’s too late. This line has climbed to 7.5 at most of our best NBA betting sites, while costing as much as -158 for the same ticket at FanDuel. At this -137 price tag, a $10 bet earns $7.30.

The logic behind this play is simple. Maxey now runs the show for the Philadelphia 76ers, averaging 8.2 assists per game. He’s cleared this mark in eight of his 10 contests this year, including a season-high 14 dimes against the Boston Celtics on Oct. 31.

There aren’t many markets for Maxey that offer much value after his start to the season, so this one is worth scooping up as a five-star play. Our Phil Wood backs Maxey Over 35.5 points and assists in his Celtics vs. 76ers player props.

⬆️ Ajay Mitchell player prop: Over 3.5 rebounds (+116) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

There is no player I’ve bet on more to start the season than Oklahoma City Thunder guard Ajay Mitchell. I can’t help it. The market hasn’t caught up to what the second-year player is doing for the best team in basketball.

With Jalen Williams, Luguentz Dort, and Aaron Wiggins all out, Mitchell has been a starter for three straight games. He’s averaging 20 points, 5.7 assists, and five rebounds per game over the past three outings.

As a result, most of Mitchell’s player props still offer value. I’m taking the plus-money price on Over 3.5 rebounds, as he’s cleared this line in five straight contests and seven of his last nine. A $10 wager nets $11.60.

⬇️ Nikola Jokic player prop: Under 27.5 points (-106) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This column might sound familiar to Friday’s NBA player props (3-1 finish, by the way), as I bet on Mitchell and faded Nikola Jokic’s scoring prop that night. Until the best sports betting sites catch up, it’s OK to keep betting on potential edges.

Jokic continues to be less aggressive as a scorer this year. He’s averaging 25.2 points per game (tied for 15th in the NBA) and has failed to clear this line in six of his nine contests. More importantly, Jokic is averaging 15 field goal attempts per outing after attempting 19.5 shots per game last year.

Jokic can always clear this on an efficient shooting night, but I’m guessing he doesn’t need to in a matchup against the Sacramento Kings.
