We're backing some long odds and star players in our NBA player props and best bets for Sunday based on the best NBA odds.

Sunday’s NBA slate features seven games, and we’ll focus on props from our best sports betting sites that come from the four games that start at 6 p.m. ET or later.

The Boston Celtics, who lead the NBA Championship odds, may be without four starters tonight, and Kyle Kuzma and the Washington Wizards should be able to take advantage of a favorable matchup at home. Immanuel Quickley and the Toronto Raptors face the Orlando Magic as Quickley continues to operate as the team’s unquestioned floor general.

After a couple of down games, NBA Rookie of the Year odds leader Victor Wembanyama will look to get back on track as the San Antonio Spurs host a Brooklyn Nets team that’s playing the second game of a back-to-back set. We’ll cap the night off with a Kawhi Leonard combo prop. The star forward is in a great spot as the Los Angeles Clippers host the depleted Atlanta Hawks.

Here are our NBA player props and best bets for Xday (NBA picks based on odds via our best NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Sunday's NBA player props

Kyle Kuzma double-double vs. Celtics (+360 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

There will be plenty of starters on the sidelines for tonight’s matchup between the Celtics and Wizards. Boston has already ruled out Derrick White and Kristaps Porzingis, while Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are questionable. Marvin Bagley is sidelined again for Washington, and Tyus Jones will miss a second straight contest. That means Kuzma should be in line for plenty of work.

This season, Kuzma is averaging a career-high 4.2 assists. He’s second on the team in that category behind the absent Jones, and Kuzma ranks first in scoring and third in rebounds. Since the All-Star break, he’s averaged 24.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists with three double-doubles in 13 appearances. He’s only got 12 double-doubles on the season, which accounts for the long odds and an implied probability of just 21.7%, according to our odds calculator.

This might seem like a risky wager, but Kuzma should handle additional responsibilities as a facilitator and rebounder, so he can achieve a double-double with points and rebounds or points and assists. The matchup with Boston is a tough one, but with so many players sidelined, Boston’s defense won’t be nearly as formidable.

Immanuel Quickley Over 7.5 assists vs. Magic (+120 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

We rolled with the Over on Quickley’s assists prop in his last game out, and he crushed the 7.5-point line with 10 dimes. Oddly, his line hasn’t moved, but the odds have gotten longer, making this a tremendous value. Quickley has averaged 10.1 assists over his last eight appearances, hitting the Over in six of them and recording seven in the other two.

Scottie Barnes and RJ Barrett are team’s second and third-leading facilitators this season, and both will be out tonight. That leaves Quickley - who’s posted four double-doubles in his hot eight-game stretch - as the team’s clear top option at point guard.

He should have no problem crushing this line, and the odds come at a major discount. The implied probability of these plus-money odds is just 45.4%, but Quickley has hit the Over in 75% of his last eight games. This is our favorite play of the night, and it’s not particularly close.

Victor Wembanyama Over 36.5 points+rebounds+assists vs. Nets (-106 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wemby has had a couple of down games, and he’s averaged just 23.5 points+rebounds+assists over his last two. You can’t keep such a talented player down for long, and we’re counting on a bounce back performance tonight. Wemby averages 34.3 points+rebounds+assists on the season, but he’s been even better since the All-Star break. Pre-break he averaged 33.7 points+rebounds+assists, and post-break, he’s averaged 37.2.

On the season, Wemby puts up 36 points+rebounds+assists at home and just 32.8 on the road. He’s only hit the Over in four games since the break, but seven of his 10 games played since the break have been on the road. Three of the games in which he hit the Over were at home.

The -106 odds offer an implied probability of 51.4%, but the big man has hit the Over in seven of his last 12 games overall, or 58.3%. He’s in a great spot at home, and Brooklyn may be less energized playing on the second night of a back-to-back set.

Kawhi Leonard Over 36.5 points+rebounds+assists vs. Hawks (-104 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

On the season, Leonard averages 33.6 points+rebounds+assists, but he’s hit the Over in four of his last eight, not counting his 12-minute game against the Timberwolves on March 12.

The Hawks rank second in points, eighth in rebounds, and fourth in assists allowed to opponents. Russell Westbrook is out, and both Norman Powell and James Harden are questionable tonight.

Leonard went for 36 points, two rebounds, and five assists in his only prior matchup with Atlanta this season, nearly hitting the Over with points alone. The odds on this line are appropriate, since they offer an implied probability of 50.9%. Leonard has hit the Over in 50% of his last eight.
