💰 NBA player props & best bets for Wednesday
Our NBA player prop odds tool shows the best odds for every market across legal sportsbooks in your area.
⬆️ Amen Thompson Over 4.5 assists (-141) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Toronto fans have other things to worry about right now (i.e. the World Series), but the supposed ball-pressure defense for the Raptors has been underwhelming to start the year. The Raptors rank 22nd in the league by allowing 27.8 assists per game. They are 21st in defensive rating.
Wednesday’s matchup could be a chance for the Houston Rockets’ Amen Thompson to demonstrate his on-ball responsibilities. He’s coming off an eight-assist performance against the Brooklyn Nets.
With this Over as high as -220 at BetMGM, DraftKings' -141 price tag (58.51% implied probability) is a substantial discount to earn $7.09 on a $10 wager.
⬆️ D’Angelo Russell Over 5.5 assists (+120) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
For the second time in three days, I will have action on D’Angelo Russell’s assists prop. It worked last time, as Russell dished 10 dimes in 30 minutes on Monday, clearing an Over of 4.5.
Even with this line at 5.5, I like the +120 price tag on this Over to win $12 on a $10 ticket. Russell has played 59 minutes over the past two games, averaging 11 potential assists per contest.
The Mavs need his on-ball creation against the Indiana Pacers - and moving forward. The +120 odds translate to an implied probability of 45.45%.
⬆️ Naz Reid Over 13.5 points (-130) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Naz Reid remains the NBA Sixth Man of the Year odds favorite, as he continues to come off the bench with Anthony Edwards sidelined. His impact has been more pronounced, however, as Reid has scored 34 points on 24 shots over the past two games.
Reid went 2-for-9 for five points in his last matchup against Los Angeles. However, the Lakers lack the size and depth to slow him down again. I project Reid to clear this mark, which is why I’m willing to pay -130 (56.52%) to win $7.69 on a $10 bet.
