Thanks to the Minnesota Timberwolves surviving Game 4, we have the opportunity to offer our top Anthony Edwards player props for Thursday's Game 5 between the Timberwolves-Mavericks based on the best NBA odds.

A standout performance from Anthony Edwards ensured the Minnesota Timberwolves won Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals and extended the series against the Dallas Mavericks. The T-Wolves return to the Target Center on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. ET, with the game set to air on TNT.

Edwards has been a contender in the NBA Finals MVP odds race, but the team's position in the series has lengthened his odds. The Timberwolves are 4.5-point favorites against the Mavericks, who still hold shorter NBA championship odds.

Anthony Edwards Over 27.5 points ⭐⭐⭐

I guess Edwards meant it went he promised to make "a lot of shots" heading into Game 3 of the WCF. In the first two games, the normally high usage Edwards saw a downtick in his field goals per game (16.5), but he corrected it in Game 3 with 26 points on 24 shots.

He once again looked like his assertive self in Game 4 with his best showing since dropping 44 in the second round against the Denver Nuggets. Edwards finished with 29 points and combined for 33 field goals and free-throw attempts. It was by far his highest output of the series, and I expect him to again take the lion's share of the workload in Game 5.

With Edwards averaging 27.5 points per game in the playoffs, these odds imply a 54.95% win probability with a $10 bet paying out $18.20, according to our odds converter.

Anthony Edwards Over 2.5 made 3-pointers ⭐⭐⭐⭐

A player with Edwards' athleticism and skill developing into a top-end 3-point shooter would be like if Justin Jefferson became a game-changing blocker in the run game. It's not necessary because he's so talented, but it makes the offense that much more terrifying if it happens.

Edwards has previewed his increasingly consistent long-range game in the playoffs. He's shooting 38.5% from behind the arc and averaging 2.8 made 3-pointers per game, up from his regular-season numbers. To keep pace with Luka Doncic in Game 5, he'll need to continue to lean into the long ball.

He's gone Over 2.5 threes in seven playoff games so far, which is why this outlier price at DraftKings is particularly enticing. This same prop at our other best sportsbooks is as short as -140. Those odds imply a 58.33% probability it hits, but our price pays $19.52 on a $10 bet.

Anthony Edwards Over 7.5 rebounds ⭐⭐⭐

It's absolutely hilarious that pretty much every year Rudy Gobert is given big-time accolades, and then the playoffs come and he's nearly the most useless player on the court. The man isn't even the best center from France. He might not even be second best with Alex Sarr on his way, the favorite to go No. 1 by the 2024 NBA Draft odds.

With Gobert being too busy playing drop coverage without telling his teammates, Edwards has had to pick up the slack as a rebounder. He's leading the Timberwolves with 8.8 rebounds per game in the series and has gone Over 7.5 in three of four games against Dallas, and four of his last five.

Given Edwards is pulling down boards so frequently, I can't pass on this price. While the odds only imply a 45.45% win probability, a $10 bet on this prop pays a $12 profit.
