The Atlanta Dream (21-11) will clash with the Seattle Storm (16-17) at 10 p.m. ET on Friday from Rogers Arena for this year's WNBA Canada game, and it's on WNBA League Pass as we look at our Storm vs. Dream odds and prediction.
This is a rematch of Wednesday’s battle, when the Dream earned an 85-75 victory as 3.5-point road underdogs. The Storm have dropped six straight and are in danger of falling further in the WNBA championship odds.
I expect a similar outcome on a neutral site.

The Dream are now the league's No. 2 seed, and they're on a six-game win streak. Karl Smesko would be my Coach of the Year pick if the season ended today, considering what he’s helped Atlanta accomplish in his first season at the helm.
And yet, the market seems slow to catch up. I'll make the case for another Dream victory in the next section.
💰 Storm vs. Dream prediction & WNBA best bet

🏀 Dream ML ⭐⭐⭐⭐
📊 Best odds: -130 via BetMGM ($10 to win $7.69)
I debated copying my writeup from Wednesday’s preview, when I recommended taking the Dream as 1-point favorites while acknowledging that it’s an ideal spot for the Storm. The market believed in Seattle, which is why Atlanta closed as a 3.5-point underdog.
As I stated then, I don’t believe in spot plays. I make a number for a game, and then I bet it when I have an edge. So in this case, I have no choice but to back the Dream as short favorites on a neutral court when I was willing to take a similar value with them on the road in this matchup.
I disagree with the notion that these two teams should be priced this close in the market power ratings. That hasn’t been the case at all in August.
The Dream rank second with a net rating of plus-20.1 over the past two weeks. The Storm sit ninth at minus-5.2.
I’ll take the short price from one of our best sports betting sites with the much better team in this spot.

⛹️♀️ Naz Hillmon Over 7.5 rebounds⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
📊 Best odds: -140 via bet365 ($10 to win $7.14)

A significant reason for Atlanta’s recent run is that Naz Hillmon has joined the starting lineup over the past five games. The Sixth Player of the Year favorite has cleared this rebound line in all five outings, including a trio of double-digit board efforts.
I’m comfortable backing this Over as a five-star play, and I'll sprinkle something on Hillmon’s +330 double-double odds at FanDuel as well.
