Although the Wings are playing their best basketball of the season lately, the Dream are arguably the most underrated team in the WNBA. Atlanta ranks third in net rating (plus-10), trailing only the New York Liberty and Minnesota Lynx. Thanks to Karl Smesko's wide-open offense, the combo of Howard and Allisha Gray, a dark-horse MVP candidate, has turned the Dream into one of the scariest matchups in the league. Dallas just doesn't have the defense to stop them.

The Wings' defense is among the worst in the WNBA. It's allowing the third-most points per game (87.1), field-goal percentage (45.6%), and 3-pointers per game (9.0), while ranking third-last in rating (110.1). It's the reason this Over is so high, and the reason I think you can play the Over in this matchup up to 172.5 points.

Thanks to Smesko, the Dream have been an offensive juggernaut this season. Howard, Gray, and Brionna Jones are among the best trios in the league - Gray leads the W in offensive win shares (2.8) with Jones (1.2) and Howard (0.9) both ranking in the top 20. Those three, along with Brittney Griner, have the Dream sitting No. 1 in 3-pointers per game (10.6), No. 2 in points per game (85.5), and No. 3 in offensive rating (110.3).

And for as much as Dallas has struggled this season, it still has a competent offense that ranks in the top half of the league in points per game (82.3) thanks to Bueckers and Arike Ogunbowale. Those two should be able to do enough for this Over to hit. I have the Dream winning 91-82.

In her five games since returning to the court, Bueckers is averaging 22.4 points per game. She now ranks top 10 in offensive win shares (1.2) and top 20 in offensive rating (112.8), having cleared 18.5 points in four of five games since her return. I'd take the Over on her points up to 20.5, given the Dream's defense allows the second-most 2-pointers per game (23.4) in the W.
