Blythefield Country Club in Grand Rapids, Michigan, will host the Meijer LPGA Classic. We analyze the Meijer LPGA Classic tournament odds and pick our favorite outright bets.

Nelly Korda is returning to Blythefield Country Club to defend her 2021 Meijer LPGA Classic title. Korda is expected to face stiff competition from U.S. Women's Open champion Minjee Lee and two-time Meijer LPGA Classic winner Brooke Henderson.

Korda is the world No. 2 and defending champion, however, it is Lydia Ko who has been priced as the favorite at +1000 to win this week's event.

The following are my top picks for the Meijer LPGA Classic.

Meijer LPGA Classic: Favorites

Brooke Henderson (+1600 via PointsBet)

Henderson cashed a +1600 ticket for us last week at the ShopRite LPGA Classic and we will be going right back to the well with Henderson this week. Two of her victories have come at the Meijer LPGA Classic, once in 2017 and once in 2019. I expected Henderson to trade more in that +1200-range after her victory at the ShopRite LPGA Classic, so with a +1600 available, we're backing her again. With an average of 1.99 strokes gained: tee-to-green, Henderson is second on the LPGA, behind only Lee.

Lexi Thompson (+1800 via FanDuel)

The LPGA's second-best player in SG: total is Lexi Thompson, with an average of 2.21. I believe Thompson's price is too high for this tournament and she should be carrying a much shorter price than +1800. Thompson won the Meijer LPGA Classic in 2015 and has finished in the top 5 three times since then. Thompson is averaging 0.95 SG: off-the-tee so far this season and she already has a history of dominating the Par 5's at Blythefield Country Club.

Meijer LPGA Classic: Contenders

Atthaya Thitikul (+3500 via DraftKings)

In the past, the Meijer LPGA Classic has been kind to bombers and has typically been won by a well-known player. In the aftermath of a disappointing performance at the U.S. Women's Open, we are now seeing Atthaya Thitikul trade at +3500, an extremely long price for someone of her skill set. Thitikul averages 0.81 SG: off-the-tee and has the distance that will allow her to score low in a tournament that tends to be a birdie fest.

Hannah Green (+3500 via DraftKings)

Over the past month, Hannah Green's price has fallen from the +2200 range to +3500. I am a huge fan of Green's game, but I was unable to justify buying her when she was +2200, but now that she is available at a price point of +3500, I am back on board. Green is averaging 0.97 SG: tee-to-green and is an outstanding putter. She possesses the type of game that can go low and finish with a score of -20 or better, which will be necessary to win this event.

Meijer LPGA Classic: Longshot

Brittany Altomare (+8000 via PointsBet)

If you are looking for someone who will elevate their game at this event and who profiles well at Blythefield Country Club, Brittany Altomare is your best bet. Altomare has finished T-2 and T-3 in her last two appearances at the Meijer LPGA Classic. Altomare offers tremendous value at +8000 this week, and she was one of the first golfers I looked for as soon as the odds were released.
