🏁 Early pick to win Las Vegas Grand Prix

Max Verstappen (+175) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Verstappen won the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix in 2023 and finished fifth last year. Red Bull's car has performed well in Sin City, particularly in colder conditions.

While Mercedes had the best-performing car in 2024, I'm worried their relatively mediocre track record in 2025 will prevent them from being the talk of Sin City on Saturday night.

McLaren, meanwhile, hasn't figured out how to create a symbiotic relationship with the cold, crisp desert night. The MCL39 usually benefits from one of the most innovative cooling systems. That won't be nearly as impactful on Saturday, with the temperature expected to dip to 46 degrees.

There is also a lack of long, quick corners, which is often where the most significant discrepancy lies between the performance of the MCL39 and other inferior cars on the grid. Without those advantages, the door is agape for Red Bull, particularly Verstappen.

In addition, Lando Norris has been rather negative in the lead-up to the race, saying he's not looking forward to it based on previous results in Vegas. He's not confident in his car's ability to perform in the comparatively frigid conditions.

His lack of confidence speaks volumes, so I'm backing Verstappen, the pre-race betting favorite. Of the best sports betting sites, DraftKings offers the best price (+175). A winning $10 bet will profit $17.50 on those odds, which carry an implied probability of 36.36%.
