The Baltimore Orioles head to the Big Apple to take on the New York Yankees on Tuesday, as we dive into our top Orioles-Yankees player props based on the best MLB odds.

Besides recent losses in Beantown, the New York Yankees (50-24) have surged in June. They face the Baltimore Orioles (47-24) in the first of a three-game series, with the first pitch at 7:05 p.m. ET (TBS) from Yankee Stadium in New York.

Despite the recent skid, the Yankees are a -150 moneyline favorite and remain the top AL team by the World Series odds. That's thanks in large part to Aaron Judge, who is beginning to runaway with the MLB MVP odds in the AL.

Here are our best Orioles vs. Yankees player props and MLB picks.

Orioles vs. Yankees expert picks

Aaron Judge Over 1.5 total bases ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It's crazy to think that Judge looked like he had lost a step at the beginning of the season. But it didn't take long for him to start playing like the clear MVP, with Judge bouncing back in May and playing unbelievably well in June.

He's slashing .392/.508/.863 with a 1.371 OPS in 14 games this month. That could mean trouble for Orioles pitcher Albert Suarez. Suarez primarily uses his four-seamer (53.6% of the time), a pitch that Judge has hit .313 or better against from 2020-2023 and has a .627 xSLG against this season.

Suarez's other primary pitch is his cutter (23%), which Judge is batting .500 with a jaw-dropping 1.250 SLG against in 2024. Against fastballs, he has 27 extra-base hits. The -123 odds imply a 55.16% win probability, according to our odds converter, with a $10 bet paying out $18.13

Albert Suarez Over 2.5 walks allowed ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I'm not sure enough credit has been given to Suarez for his magical ride back to the majors. He hadn't pitched in the big leagues since 2017, spent several years playing in Japan and South Korea, and has been integral to the Orioles success this season both out of the bullpen and as a starter.

With that said, he's going to take his lumps against the Yankees. New York has one of the most explosive offenses in baseball, and no team in the AL walks more. Judge and Juan Soto rank top two in the AL in walks with 112 between them. For as good as Suarez has been, he issued eight walks in his last 19 1/3 innings pitched - including three in his last start.

The odds imply a 53.92% probability he issues at least three walks with a $10 bet paying an $8.55 profit.

Adley Rutschman Over 1.5 total bases ⭐⭐⭐

The Yankees are the scariest offense in the AL, but the Orioles are no slouches. Gunnar Henderson might be Judge's biggest competition for AL MVP this season, but it's Adley Rutschman who has the more appetizing matchup against New York starting pitcher Nestor Cortes.

The last time Cortes pitched against Baltimore in April, Rutschman went 2-for-4 flexing his dominance against lefties. This season, the Orioles' All-Star is crushing left-handers with a slash line of .421/.452/.693. And not only does Rutschman have that going for him, he also has been killing Cortes' top two pitches this season.

Cortes uses his four-seamer 47.9% of the time - a pitch Rutschman is batting .362 against with a .650 SLG - and his cutter 29.8% of the time - Rutschman's hitting .316 against them. The odds imply a 46.51% win probability with a $10 bet paying out $21.50.
