The San Francisco Giants bring a six-game winning streak into tonight's matchup with the Baltimore Orioles, but my Orioles vs. Giants prediction sees better value in the total than either moneyline.

Baltimore is a rare -130 moneyline road betting favorite, and I am backing Orioles southpaw Trevor Rogers to continue his fantastic season and keep the scoring down as part of my MLB picks.

With Rogers pitching lights out, I'm excited to fade one of San Francisco’s best hitters at a reasonable price. First pitch from Oracle Park in San Francisco is set for 7:15 p.m. ET, airing on FOX.

Though it is from a small sample size of pitchers with a minimum of 10 starts, Rogers’ 1.40 ERA is the lowest in the majors.

He has also recorded the best run value per 100 pitches on his four-seam fastball and on pitches in the strike zone, and he is the biggest reason for backing the Under with confidence as my Orioles vs. Giants best bet.

San Francisco has also been pitching well of late. During the team’s five-game winning streak before allowing eight runs in a win last night, it pitched to a 2.40 team ERA. That was a welcome respite after losing 25 of 34 games before its six-game winning streak.
