If you give me nearly 2/1 on Ohtani to record an RBI, I’m going to take it.

Even if he is making his first postseason start, he’s still one of the best hitters on the planet. He delivered four RBIs in the NL Wild Card series after recording 10 across 16 postseason games last year.

If the Dodgers have success offensively on Saturday, Ohtani will likely play a part in it. Look, there is no way I wasn’t betting on Phillies OF Kyle Schwarber to record an RBI in his first playoff game after cashing a 50/1 future on him to lead the majors in RBIs. I got money to spend after he drove in an MLB-best 132 RBIs this season.

That said, there is value in this prop because the market is pricing a lower-scoring matchup. That’s a fair assumption due to who is on the mound, though not one I’m willing to bank on when you are dealing with this many talented hitters.

Projections have 0.45 RBIs for Schwarber, and this +145 price tag suggests an implied probability of 40.82%. I’ll take those odds, cashing $14.50 on a $10 bet if it gets home.
