The Milwaukee Brewers look to tie a franchise-record winning streak with a victory over the division rival Cincinnati Reds tonight, and we break down the series opener with our Brewers vs. Reds prediction.

Despite Milwaukee trying to achieve something it has done only one other time 38 years ago in franchise history, I have to side with it to win its 13th straight as my Brewers vs. Reds prediction.

The Brewers outscored the Pittsburgh Pirates 33-6 during a three-game sweep this week, and lit up NL Cy Young Award odds favorite Paul Skenes in the process.

After that offensive barrage, Milwaukee is now averaging 8.6 runs per game, has belted 23 home runs, totaled a .951 OPS, pitched to a 3.25 team ERA, and owns a plus-64 run differential over its 12-game winning streak.

A Milwaukee victory is my Brewers vs. Reds best bet, as it has won both of its series against Cincinnati and owns a 5-2 head-to-head record. The Brewers are also 45-16 since June 1, profiting their moneyline backers $2,288 and a 37.5% ROI. Milwaukee is trying to become just the third team since 2015 to finish June, July, and August up $2,000-plus in moneyline profits.

Collins has been one of Milwaukee’s many sparkplugs offensively during its winning streak. When scouring the odds of all the team’s players, he often had the best value, making him the subject of my best Brewers vs. Reds player props.

Collins is batting .364 with nine extra-base hits, 11 RBI, and a 1.136 OPS in the last 11 games. He has scored at least one run in four of five games and eight of 11 this month, so I am backing these odds again, even though he has never faced Reds righty Nick Martinez in his young career.
