Similar to his teammate Brandon Nimmo, who's leading the way in our best home run predictions today, Soto has been rapidly putting a tough early part of the season and start to his Mets tenure far behind him.

His uncharacteristic .752 OPS during March and April is now a spec far in the rearview, as Soto has produced a mammoth 1.238 during June. He's reached that peak through a power eruption, with five homers in as many games recently - a volcanic stretch that includes two multi-dinger outings, and a four-hit game against the World Series odds contender Philadelphia Phillies.

The uprising of Nimmo and Soto is in part how New York will keep clawing out of its rough patch after losing 10 of 11 games prior to a win over the Braves last night in the second game of this series.

They can both jump on Atlanta starter Grant Holmes, who sits tied for fifth in the NL with 14 homers allowed. Holmes leans heavily on his four-seamer while throwing it 35.8% of the time, according to Baseball Savant, and it's getting tattooed to the tune of a .750 slugging percentage.

Soto, who incredibly ranks in the 95th percentile or above in nearly every underlying hitting metric out there, pulverizes fastballs and has produced a .798 expected slugging. We're getting solid value while making this bet through BetMGM, as several of our other best sports betting sites are sitting at -125.
