Still looking for his first victory of the 2025 calendar year after winning two majors last year, Schauffele has a 9.09% implied probability of winning the Baycurrent Classic in the 78-man field.
Schauffele enters the week at No. 4 in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR), despite not qualifying for the Tour Championship. Injuries delayed and derailed his start to the 2025 season but he's poised for a strong return to form at this new PGA Tour venue.
We last saw Schauffele in the Ryder Cup, and he was mainly unimpressive in the team format. I don't love the +1000 odds for the outright betting favorite in a small, top-heavy field. I'd pass on Schauffele in the to win market, and will look for other prop betting opportunities for the top American in the field.
