In one of the biggest mismatches on the slate this week, my Syracuse vs. Notre Dame player props are backing a trio of Fighting Irish playmakers for Saturday's 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff (NBC, Peacock) from Notre Dame Stadium in Notre Dame, Ind.

With Syracuse's struggles this season, No. 9 Notre Dame is a 35.5-point betting favorite at home, and my college football Week 13 predictions expect the Fighting Irish to cruise to a win behind their star running backs.

⬆️ Jadarian Price player prop: Over 56.5 rushing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Though Jadarian Price isn't the face of Marcus Freeman's program like starting running back Jeremiyah Love is, the Fighting Irish's second-string running back is still one of the best in the country. The projected top 100 pick hasn't been as impactful in the second half of the season, but Price is poised for a major bounce back against Syracuse.

The Orange are allowing the third-most rushing yards per game in the ACC (163.4), and Price's home run ability should help him shine against a defense that's allowing 4.7 yards per carry this season. Despite technically being a backup at Notre Dame and having just 103 carries, Price ranks top 40 nationally in 10-plus-yard runs (22).

With his ability to rip off chunk runs, Price should only need his season average of 10.3 carries per game to hit this Over, and he could see an increased workload if Notre Dame gets up early and Freeman wants to preserve Love in the second half. If Price hits 57-plus rushing yards for the seventh time this season, a $10 bet pays an $8.77 profit.

With Love's rushing yards line at our best college football betting sites set at 129.5, and it being unclear how much work he's going to need as a runner against this lowly Syracuse team, I'm more comfortable focusing on his receiving yards. Don't forget, the potential top 10 pick is also one of the best pass-catching running backs in the country.

Syracuse's pass defense has been brutal this season, with Fran Brown's team sitting No. 114 in EPA per pass on defense, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Notre Dame pick up major yardage through the air. That should also mean utilizing their best playmaker as a pass catcher, especially with CJ Carr having a 133.6 NFL QB rating when targeting Love.

With his ability in the open field, Love could hit this Over on just one reception - he's No. 6 among Power Four running backs in YAC (259) and No. 8 in yards per route run (1.99). He's already gone Over 25.5 receiving yards in five games this season, including three of his last four. If he does it again, a $10 bet pays an $8.77 profit.

One of my favorite college football anytime touchdown scorer predictions for Week 13 is Notre Dame wide receiver Malachi Fields to put six on the board against Syracuse. The Virginia transfer has found his stride in recent weeks and has become Carr's favorite target and Notre Dame's best big-play threat through the air.

Fields, who scored 10 touchdowns in his final two seasons with the Cavaliers, has already matched his career-high in TDs this season with five in 10 games. He's been at his best in his last three games, too, with Fields putting up 13 receptions for 248 yards and three touchdowns on 18 targets.

Expect his productivity to continue against a Syracuse team that's allowed the fourth-most passing TDs in the Power Four this season (22). If Fields can find pay dirt against the Orange, a $10 bet pays a $12.40 profit.
