Clemson -2.5 (-110) ⭐⭐⭐

Neither of these programs is anywhere near full strength due to injuries, opt-outs, and transfer portal defections, but unlike Penn State, Clemson has its head coach and starting QB. With Dabo Swinney on the sideline and Cade Klubnik behind center, the Tigers are 3-1 ATS in their last four.

🚨 More missing starters than the Yankees have World Series wins

The New York Yankees have 27 World Series wins. The Pinstripe Bowl could be missing more than 30 players who have started for Clemson and Penn State this season. While there's a good chance we won't know every player missing the Pinstripe Bowl until kickoff, we do already know several stars set to miss the game.

The biggest names not taking the field for Penn State include Nicholas Singleton, Vega Ioane, Zane Durant, and Zakee Wheatley. The stars Clemson will be without include Peter Woods, TJ Parker, Antonio Williams, and Avieon Terrell.

Clemson also has a deeper bullpen of playmakers and shouldn't have more opt-outs, while Penn State interim head coach Terry Smith has implied several starters could see limited time.

If Penn State doesn't have star running back Kaytron Allen handling a full workload, generating offense will be tough.

Score prediction: Clemson 27, Penn State 23

Adam Randall, RB, Clemson: 2+ TDs (+225) ⭐⭐⭐

A lot hasn't gone right for Clemson this season, but moving former blue-chip recruit Adam Randall from wide receiver to running back paid off for Swinney's staff, especially late in the season.

The 6-foot-2, 230-pound Randall has been at his best since November, averaging 19 touches for 100 yards in Clemson's last four games against Power Four opponents. That includes two multi-touchdown games against Duke and Louisville.

With wide receivers Antonio Williams and Bryant Wesco Jr. set to miss the bowl game, Randall should continue to see major usage. He leads the team in touches (188), yards from scrimmage (1,025), and TDs (12).

Randall is one of just six players from the ACC with over 500 rushing yards after contact and more than 22 runs of 10-plus yards this season. That physicality and explosion should come in handy against a depleted Penn State defense.
