Our college football player props rooted in the best NCAAF odds prepare you for the first Saturday of bowl season at our best college football betting sites.

Bowl season has arrived, and we aim to sustain success with player props throughout this postseason. For those who haven't followed me on X, where I shared a final regular-season update, my player props recorded a 52-42 record for +13.1 units through Championship Weekend.

But bowl season changes the game. Each day requires monitoring opt-outs and transfer news. These rosters undergo complete flux, and projecting which team will be more motivated in each bowl game becomes challenging. Placing a bet requires considering all these factors, and then one must hope it all unfolds as anticipated on the football field.

Sustaining success in props betting throughout this bowl season will pose challenges, so we carefully decide on our wagers. Check out Mike Spector's college football player props and best bets for Saturday.

To accompany our college bowl game expert picks for Saturday, here are our best college football player props (odds via our best college football betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Jonathan Brady (New Mexico State) Over 31.5 receiving yards (-123 via Caesars) vs. Fresno State ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The trading team at Caesars is disrespecting New Mexico State's top receiver. Or perhaps just some influential money forced this line to drop five yards, but we're jumping on this discounted prop for Jonathan Brady. The rest of our best sports betting sites are setting this line a bit higher, including FanDuel's mark of 41.5 yards.

Brady, who's a 5-foot-11, 190-pound receiver from Las Vegas, is a big play waiting to happen and can cash the Over here with one catch. He's also the team's unquestioned top target on Saturday in a game against Fresno State, with the Aggies favored in front of a friendly crowd during the New Mexico Bowl.

Brady led the team in targets (58), receptions (37), and yards (613) during the regular season. He cleared this mark seven times, including a 95-yard performance in the Conference USA title game. Trent Hudson, NMSU's No. 2 receiver, has hit the transfer portal, and Brady figures to get even more work. Quarterback Diego Pavia is expected to be healthy after injuring his elbow last time out, positioning New Mexico State's offense to do plenty of damage on Saturday.

With a projection north of 40 receiving yards for Brady, there's plenty of value in taking this current Over at Caesars. It might be worth exploring the alternate markets, too, if you believe in a significant day for Brady. Especially considering he went off for 109 yards and two touchdowns the last time he played in this stadium.

George Holani (Boise State) Under 73.5 rushing yards (-114 via FanDuel) vs. UCLA ⭐⭐⭐⭐

If Hollywood were in charge of this script, Boise State running back George Holani would end his career with a memorable performance against UCLA in the LA Bowl on Saturday. But things don't always turn out like they do in the movies.

With quarterback Taylen Green in the transfer portal, the Broncos are expected to give true freshman CJ Tiller the start under center. The Bruins will likely load the box and force the three-star quarterback to beat them through the air. UCLA's defense ranked 43rd in the country in success rate against the run this year and was 11th in overall EPA per play.

Boise State wants to run the ball, and that's certainly no secret to anyone. The Broncos ran for 301 yards on 51 attempts in their victory over the UNLV Rebels during the Mountain West championship game. The problem is that star tailback Ashton Jeanty has started to come on down the stretch.

Jeanty has posted consecutive 100-yard performances entering this weekend, recording triple-digit rushing performances in five of his last eight outings. He's also more of the receiving threat, recording 39 catches for 552 yards on the year. Jeanty and Holani have had an even split in snaps and rushing attempts in recent weeks, but don't be surprised if the former is involved more if Boise State is trailing at some point.

Holani has only received more than 16 carries in a game twice this season, and we anticipate him having a more difficult time finding open lanes against this UCLA defensive front. With a projection just below 60 rushing yards, there is value in taking his current Under.

Coy Eakin (Texas Tech) Over 50.5 receiving yards (-114 via FanDuel) vs. California ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Most bettors might be scared off from betting Texas Tech receiving props, but I believe there is value in wading through the murky waters of this receiver room. The Red Raiders had their top-two starting receivers hit the transfer portal, which has created some uncertainty about the pecking order entering Saturday's Independence Bowl matchup against California.

Head coach Joey McGuire has said that Jordan Brown and Coy Eakin will start on the outside, with Drae McCray and Xavier White getting a majority of the slot snaps. Eakin (a redshirt freshman) has the highest receiving yardage prop at most of our best sports betting apps, with the exception of FanDuel, which has White (senior) sitting about four yards higher than Eakin.

In this case, we believe FanDuel has made a mistake. Eakin has hit his stride in recent weeks, recording at least five starts in the last four games. In a loss to Texas during the regular-season finale, Eakin saw twice as many targets (10) as anyone else and produced four catches for 27 yards in a loss to Texas.

The workload is what we care about, however, especially since Eakin and the Red Raiders have a more favorable matchup. California ranks 129th (out of 133 teams) in passing yards allowed per game this season. Texas Tech quarterback Behren Morton, who started every game down the stretch when Eakin was becoming more involved, is expected to be closer to 100% as well.

Take advantage of the unknown and bet on Eakin to deliver for the Red Raiders in a late-night matchup on Saturday at one of our college football betting sites. We think both Eakin and TTU are going to surprise many.
