The Michigan Wolverines enter Week 6 at 5-0 and are huge favorites in their Week 6 Big Ten clash with the Indiana Hoosiers. Check out our top Michigan-Indiana picks below.
Michigan has won all but one game this season by a double-digit margin. The exception was a 34-27 win over Maryland two weeks ago. The Wolverines recovered in a 27-14 win over Iowa last week in which they covered the closing 10.5-point spread.
Indiana has suffered back-to-back losses coming into Week 6. Those defeats came at the hands of Cincinnati and Nebraska by a combined score of 80-45.

Michigan vs. Indiana Odds Analysis
The spread has stayed right at the consensus opening line of Michigan -22.5 despite 70% of the tickets and 77% of the handle backing the Wolverines at that number.
The Over/Under was bumped up slightly from 58 to 58.5. Sixty-eight percent of the tickets are on the Over but those account for a more modest 59% of the handle.

- Prop: First quarter spread: Michigan -6.5 (-125 via DraftKings) ★★★
Michigan vs. Indiana ATS Pick
Michigan -22.5 (-110) ★★★
Michigan rose to the occasion last week and handled an elite Iowa defense with a methodical offensive performance, pushing out to a 20-0 lead through the first three quarters before Iowa got some points in garbage time.
Even after that Michigan effort, ESPN’s College Football Power Index still ranks Iowa's defense as No. 8. Offensively, Michigan is 9th-best in offensive efficiency. That’s a tough matchup for a Hoosiers' D that falls outside the top 60; if Michigan can post 27 points against Indiana's top 10 defense, this task shouldn’t be an issue.
Though Indiana is undefeated at home this season, those opponents (Illinois, Idaho and Western Kentucky) pale in comparison to Michigan. Also, this Hoosiers team did something unforgivable, losing to Nebraska by multiple touchdowns last weekend.
Though Michigan hasn't won against the spread this year, a blowout for one of the most balanced teams in the country is on tap.
Michigan vs. Indiana O/U Pick
Over 58.5 (-110) ★★★★
Michigan averages 45.4 points per game and has scored below 34 points only once in 2022. Though its lowest output came just last week, there’s no reason Michigan can’t rebound offensively now that it faces Indiana instead of Iowa.
Indiana’s potential contribution is a question against Michigan’s No. 13-ranked defensive efficiency. At home, the Hoosiers average north of 30 PPG, but rank 81st in offensive efficiency with factors including strength of opponent and game locations. Indiana hasn’t fallen below 20 points in any of its matchups this season, but Michigan will be the biggest test.
The Wolverines did allow a couple of late scores to one of the worst O-lines last week. Indiana should get points in the second half after Michigan builds its lead. A score in the range of 45-17 would provide cash for Over bettors.
Michigan vs. Indiana Prop Pick
First quarter spread: Michigan -6.5 (-125) ★★★
The Wolverines have been a dynamite group in opening games this season. Michigan leads by a touchdown or better in four of its first five matchups. Though the Hoosiers are 3-2 outright on the campaign, they haven't led after the first quarter in any of their five contests.
Michigan is the superior team in every way, but Indiana’s woefully slow starts regardless of opponent is a trend that shouldn’t help the Hoosiers when they host a capable team Saturday.
The trends for both sides dictate another fast Wolverine opening. Since this line is still below a touchdown-plus-extra-point margin, it's favorable for a Michigan team that should have little trouble scoring on multiple possessions in the game’s opening stanza.
