FanDuel Officially Announces Ontario Launch
FanDuel Group officially announced Thursday that it will be offering online sports betting in Ontario beginning Monday, April 4.
The company will bring its fan-focused gaming to the province with a focus on delivering new and interactive ways for sports fans to wager on their favorite leagues and teams responsibly, in accordance with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and iGaming Ontario.

FanDuel’s Sportsbook is embedded with a casino, and there will also be a standalone FanDuel Casino application available to Ontarians that will offer multiple real-time, real-money gaming experiences.

Even with the April 4 launch of legalized sports betting in Ontario just days away, there remain a lot of unknowns of how the first few weeks will play out for bettors and the sportsbooks themselves.
Even if residents of Canada’s most populous province are no longer able to play daily fantasy sports on the platform, FanDuel is still positioning itself to remain an industry leader in the new market.
