When Melzer is healthy, he is tough on clay. I'm hoping the Monte Carlo tournament showed his return to form and health. Granollers can be tricky sometimes, but his record at this tournament is very poor. Just have to hope Melzer shows up ready to rock.

Doubles team totally choked today. They got up 3-0 in the 2nd and then fell totally apart. Very odd for that duo as they have been the most consistent clay court doubles team over the past year. Oh well, splitsville on those picks.

Jankovic seems to be in great form right now. Think the price drifted out a little too much for me to like it at close to -150, but I think she is going to win.

I will pound Nicolas Almagro tomorrow if Ferrero finds a way to win his match. JCF has looked real vulnerable today and I think the long layoff is going to catch him fitness wise at some point + his play has been very unsteady. Against someone better than Vagnozzi today, he'd already be a loser.
