Not real keen on that one. Berlocq plays on the surface more, but he's not the most reliable guy. He should win, but Maurer did play qualis here and could have an early edge because of the on-court time spent here.Comment -

Opinion on Youzhny against Troicki? Troicki has played like really bad shit when I've seen him on clay. Youzhny is a decent clay courter with a couple titles. Youzhny lost to Kohlschreiber in Rome last week, but it seems like he just has trouble with him career wise. Prior to that, he lost hard fought matches to JMDP and Petzchner, who was hitting all his dropshots. Youzhny should be fighting to win here, while Troicki just got destroyed by Mayer yesterday. I'm really liking Youzhny.Comment -
Based on their 1st matches here, Youzhny seems an easy pick - but both had been in pretty ickish form heading into this tournament. I'm a Youzhny fan too. This is one I'm passing though. This "Team Cup" format seems pretty difficult to figure out who gives a shit and who doesn't.Comment -

My opinion for the same price, I'd rather take Baghdatis today against Benneteau. Not that Baggy has been worth a shit this year, but he's already beaten Benny on dirt this year and has points to defend in Nice.Comment -
Ok, I took Baghdatis, although I have bad luck with the French. Come to think of it, I don't think I win any bets one way or the other when it comes to the French unless it's Simon.

LoL. I know shari hates betting on French players. My first inclination was FADE Baghdatis as I've been doing most of the season. But the last match they played shows that Benneteau has trouble handling Baghdatis' serve. Now the question of course is can Baghdatis serve well the whole match ... we shall see.Comment -

Yeah again why I think that was good to avoid. Both [Youzhny-Troicki] had questionable form really and that tournament's format is goofy. It's like Davis Cup with nothing on the line. Only reason I took Mayer is that he was in reasonably good form and playing in his home country which he seems to prefer. Otherwise this tournament is a weird one to bet.Comment -
Just took a shot at a big price that Bartoli wouldn't show up. Krumm usually battles against good players & Bartoli had lost to some not-great players on clay this season. Wasn't a big play by any means.
