    PAVLYUCHENKOVA-RODIONOVA UNDER 20 [-135]
Time for Russian payback after Rodionova trounced her early in 2010. The Russian shoukl show just how far she's come this year as she has quietly become one of the breakout players of the season in WTA.

Yeah 5Dimes - at least one set must be complete, otherwise that part of the bet is ruled a push. So you're in the same boat as me.

It was Mello who retired after all, it either case Dimitrov rolled and a lower payout cashed.

              ROBREDO-ISTOMIN OVER 23 [-105]
I've been rating Istomin one of the most uneven players on the men's side this summer and for me, that always brings forth the possibility of three sets. That's likely needed to cash this over. Robredo was solid in his opener here and should he serve well, this could be a tight and competitive match.

Robredo did serve very well last match, and you're usually guaranteed a good serving performance from Istomin. You might even clear that in 2 sets.....

                  KOHLSCHREIBER-BERRER OVER 22 [-125]
Battle of the Germans here, both of whom cruised in their openers in Metz. Kohlschreiber's serve was not broken and he did not offer any break opps. Berrer offered four break opps, but saved them all in running off Rainier Schuettler. Plenty of reason to think this should be tight. Berrer has a solid track record on this indoor surface in the past year or so, although a lot of damage came on the Challenger level. Still, he won three Challenger titles [Nov 09-Jan 10] and made the Zagreb final in February losing to Cilic. Kohlschreiber played well at this event last year, making the final. This should be Kohly's to lose, but the controlled indoor environment appears to agree with Berrer, so I think it's a tight two setter or potentially three - both of which could work for this one.

Istomin's serve sucks today. Total is gonna die unless Robredo falls apart in the 2nd. Highly unlikely.

Couldn't talk myself out of this one. Lacko is a talent, but inconsistent. I like that Clement got a match on this surface in Davis Cup play with little pressure to win and he won easily anyway. With the feel good vibe in France right now from them winning in Davis Cup, I'm gonna back the home boy today because he's played this tournament a lot and knows the courts even if he isn't always at his best here.

For the year? I haven't really kept an accurate count, but I would estimate I am probably breaking even or slightly down perhaps. I don't think I'm probably much more than a 53-55% win rate for the year. Good thing is I don't bet heavy chalk, so that should mean I'm not down a ton on the year. Definitely have had piss poor runs and good runs.

I had to go give my GF a ride to work right when the match started and the damn thing was over by the time I got back. Nice work French fry.

DelPo reported to be back next week for the Thailand Open.

Argentine tennis star Juan Martin del Potro says he will return to action next week in the Thailand Open, ending eight months of inactivity as he recovered from right wrist surgery.

Del Potro, the 2009 U.S. Open champion, expects to travel to Bangkok this week to begin preparations.

Del Potro had surgery in May but has not played since a Jan. 24 loss in the Australian Open. The Argentine underwent the surgery after other methods of treatment failed to solve the problem.

Will be interesting to see how Del Potro plays. Lots of rumors of Del Potro having depression issues which were another reason why he wasn't back playing. Guess time will tell how he rebounds here. Hope he can regain his previous form

Yeah. I would advise people to avoid him whole heartedly to begin with. Don't fall into the trap of simply backing a guy because of WHO he is, not HOW he is playing and obviously we don't know how he'll play. Berrer is now on my no-fly list. Haven't been on the right side of shit with this guy seemingly ever.

                                                WTA SEOUL: KIRILENKO -155
Russian vs. Russian, but the OVER on the total doesn't seem to apply when these two meet. Kirilenko has beaten Safina twice in 2010 on hard courts [one by retirement]. Safina showed some of her same problematic serve issues in her opener in Seoul while Kirilenko rolled in straights. This has also been one of Kirilenko's favorite tournaments as she sports a 13-3 record here all-time and has made the finals twice and at least the semis in three straight years. It's a little chalky and it's WTA, but I still like it.

There is something wrong with that line, it should be atleast -250 for Kirilenko. With that being said, I'm on the other side- Safina looks like she may pull this off.

                                                        Clement game was 100000% fixed.

                                                        4-1 up

Three service games 40-0 served out.

Then loses 8 straight games ??

I thought the price was pretty accurate. No way Kirilenko would be larger than a -200 favorite in this situation and there'd be far less action on the match if the price was closer to that.

I agree with the action part of the argument. However, Maria has been very good on hard courts this year and has a 2-0 head to head advantage just THIS year, not too mention, has a much better rank. With that being said, I have a feeling Maria will be sloppy today and Safina may have more to play for. Early break already.

She was solid at the Aussie Open and then a little above .500 for the rest of the year. She was obviously better than Safina on this surface this year, but not to an exaggerated point.

All that being said, I'm done for this week. Haven't picked anything but losers or passed on winners. No need to let the books have any more of my money maybe until next week if that.
