Just some thoughts, not plays because I am a total loser this week.

I think I would fade Mahut today and take Zverev at +130. The home standing French fried Fs haven't been faring too well in Metz this week and Mahut is a Lucky Loser entry. Zverev survived qualis here. Neither is really trustworthy at this point, so the better price again might be best if you have to.

Gasquet & Roger-Vasselin doubles might be worth another shot today at -115. Their opponents are solid doubles types, but they're only so-so on harder surfaces in their short time together. Match figures to be close, better price might make sense.

F Marin Cilic. If you pay -360 for him, you deserve whatever happens. I'd only use it in a parlay, but there shouldn't be much confidence in him.

    Good luck today.

Hey at least my thoughts looked good on Zverev. $25 imaginary dollars to me.

Liked Kohlschreiber today at +158 and Gasquet-Robredo OVER.

Also liked getting my ass rocked by Kings of Leon last night in Dallas!

My thought processor seems to be in working order. Robredo-Gasquet going over 22.5. More imaginary money in the bank.

Gasquet should win the Metz tourny. doy ou know if he found a new coach? I'm very happy he is competing now. he will be top 10 again very soon

I just love the fact that Cilic is trash. People had such high hopes for him but he has crashed and burned so far. Guy has nothing above his shoulders.

He'll definitely be in the final [Gasquet]. Don't think there's any chance he loses to Zverev. I think Kohlschreiber makes it back to the final again. Good pick tomorrow at +115 against Simon. I know Simon has the head-2-head advantage and all, but I think Kohly is playing more even tennis this week.

Chela tomorrow at +132 looks tempting too. Montanes falls into my formula that I generally go with in that he won his match yesterday despite scoring less points. Often an indicator that he will fall short in a match next time or two out. Not full proof again, but something I like to follow. I know Montanes is the defending champ, but he was a little shaky at times against Chardy.

Gasquet pulls out of Metz tourney. Simon killed Kohlschreiber. Chela beats Montanes.

No problem. I just went back to double check because maybe I was asleep when I saw the Gasquet story. I'd be shocked if he played doubles.

The Pole draws Giraldo who just simply is not worth backing on a surface outside clay. Przysienzy doesn't have a ton of experience yet, but did have some success on indoor hard courts at the Challenger level early this season. Both are transitioning from clay. Just trying one out to start this week.

                                                      ANDERSON -165
This is a bit of a leap of faith with Anderson here as he skipped out on Davis Cup action about 10 days ago with a foot injury. Still to me, if a guy is skipping out on his country and then coming here to play - he's likely to be close to 100%. He draws Falla who isn't a pushover, but the indoor surface really should suit Anderson if healthy. Taking a shot that if healthy, he wins this and if not healthy, hopefully he retires before the 1st set is over.

Is anyone else going to bet on any early matches here?

I haven't looked yet but 1 AM tennis matches are kind of amazing to watch.

Anderson match does not start until this first one is done. Giraldo is gonna wind up winning here, but he's done just about everything to lose the match. Damn Pole blew break leads in the 1st and sucked in the tie break.

If you're betting Tokyo WTA, it seems like it's only Center Court matches being played. Bangkok ones have all been delayed so far.

Looking at the Challengers, the Cali Challenger does have a live scoreboard for those interested in betting it. Uruguay Challenger does not that I can find.

Little reason to back the youngster here as he has not played a ton of tennis in 2010 and had just some modest success on dirt. He also retired from his last match back at the Bogota Challenger event just last week. Ghedin meanwhile acquitted himself decently on clay last week in Bogota, losing a tough 3 set battle to Decoud. Ghedin did play this event last year with one win and one loss, the loss coming to Chela. I think with the retirement last week + Ghedin playing decent tennis last week, he's got a good shot to get it done today.
