Such is my life right now. I fade this joker the other day and he rolls. I back him today and this. Maybe I should just sit out the US Open too and save myself some money.

STEPANEK TO WIN 1st SET [+105] Stepanek stuck with Troicki in the 1st set in Cincinnati when he was woefully short on fitness and form, getting broken when the set was at 5-5, losing 7-5. Stepanek seems to have found some confidence in his game here in New Haven and while he may suck the life out of this match in the end due to the number of matches he's played, I think he comes out ready to go. He also owes me from last time.

Poor loss, but not entirely unexpected at some point. I expected Baggy would bail by the weekend although I don't think he folded, I just don't think he played that well.

MAD MATH MORNING PLAY
One unit on each again. Kirilenko to win 2-1 [+433] & Petrova to win 2-1 [+315]. Going this way instead of playing the higher chalk on the over for the total. Russian vs. Russian, the three setters happen a bit more frequently it seems. Both have been very good this week, Petrova probably has the edge with her serve so far. Get to a 3rd set and the profit is there. Let's go Russianettes!

Yep. Mad Math banks today so long as they finish off the match & since Petrova f-ed me once on a total by quitting a game shy of the end of a match, not gonna tally it up just yet.

DE BAKKER -141
Stakhovsky likely would have commanded an even larger dog tag today if he hadn't beaten everyone's darling of late in Baghdatis. Let's keep this in context though, Baghdatis has played a ton of tennis in the last 30 days, close to 20 matches. Stakhovsky also had to work double to beat Robredo & Baghdatis yesterday, playing four sets [1 vs. Robredo] to finish the day. de Bakker clearly has the rest advantage here and I think if he can pump that 1st serve in regularly, he comes through today.
May take de Bakker to win 2-0 & 2-1 and look for the profit split if the price goes back up before I book this.

Also made a play based on a Tursunov Tweet. Hocevar in qualifying at -105 over Ryan Harrison. Tursunov said he hung out with Harrison and mentioned he had a full leg cramp yesterday during his match. May not mean anything, but I enjoy living stupidly and Tursunov is my boy.

Not even sure where they're at yet. I know upstairs on Armstrong or Ashe you could get single tix as cheap as $58. Downstairs is easily a couple hundred each. de Bakker = de bacle.

WOZNIACKI-PETROVA OVER 20.5 [-125] Third straight year that Wozniacki will be playing a Russian in the final at this tournament. She's 2-0 in previous finals, but looked a little shaky yesterday against Dementieva and has less rest here. Petrova has featured a pretty solid serve this tournament which she'll need to compete today. She has those sets where she can't do anything right and then comes back with a dominant one. She's played Woz twice this year, predictably losing in straights on clay to her and then going three wobbly sets against her in Indian Wells in a loss. Not sure this one will go 3, but it can get over in two today if Petrova has her best serve. Will be interesting to see how Wozniacki bounces back today after the long match. Having gotten a free round at New Haven courtesy of a withdrawal, she should be okay but may wear down if this goes 3.

Nice, scenic route to the over [so long as they play it out]. 5 breaks of serve in the 2nd set combined. Petrova looked cooked early in the set and now is taking it to a 3rd. More proof that the women's US Open is gonna be wide open.
