Right timing and speed of placing bet is very important in arbing and trading. But under Australian Law's you can only place live bet by calling the Sportsbook. For example if I have to place a live bet at Betfair, I need to call them, give them my account number, tell them sports, what team/event I want to back etc.... All this process takes 1-3 minutes. Many times I missed the arb/trade because of delay caused by this requirement of calling Betfair.

Is there any way around it? I am specifically asking for Betfair. If I use Betangel or any other trading software, do I still need to call Betfair for placing bets on live events?

Answers/comments from Australian punters will be highly appreciated.

Trading software won't solve the problem.

You need a solution which will disguise the fact that you're physically in Australia.

I am not (fortunately) living in Australia. Maybe I would suggest to use a VPN service, from another country, which is "betting friendly",

or at least, where Betfair is not blocked.

In Europe, many "highly developed" countries do block accessing bookies not have their national licenses.

Unfortunately, there are still only a few countries remaining...

As for Betfair, I can place LIVE bets there normally, but starting January 2017, it will be (for sure) blocked, as a

new (censoring) law has just been issued...

Well, if I had an Australian KYC (being a resident of Australia) and live betting is prohibited (not accessible) directly, and I would use a VPN (coming from another country) - yes , that would be probably a problem. They would probably suspend my betting account, as a result, I am "bypassing" their (though stupid) regulations.

First, I should have to manage a KYC in the country I wish to use the VPN from. Yes, it is a little bit complicated, but if you are a serious bettor (earning good money by betting - and arbers usually are this category ...), it could be worth to try ...

Any comments on how I am fraudulent, or anything else, please ?

Only option I can think of is using my partner account. She is from Czech Republic (lucky me?), so may be I can register her account on betfair from Czech republic and try trading using VPN on betfair. Any suggestions on this?

I think your partner would need to provide evidence of current residency in Czech Republic to be able to open an account.
And I believe rather than a market base rate of 5% you enjoy in Oz, she'd be paying 6.5%.

Multi accounting is considered fraud against the book. And we dont talk about it. But it is tougher than most people expect usually. Remember books are always on the lookout for it and have become pretty good at spotting it. Any female account is basically flagged as suspicious.

as being from Portugal I opened an acc via betibc many time ago, via them and with VPN works perfect for me.
I am always clearing my browsing data as security measures, and I also check my IP every time

so you have no problems with them detecting your vpn. I tried with a free vpn and it seems to be able to detect. Which vpn service do you use.

Multi accounting is only fraudulent in soft books. I needed to have one extra pinnacle account because maximum I could deposit via debit card/ Credit card in a month timeframe was only $5500. I sent an email to Pinnacle support and told them I want to open an account on my partner's name and the new account will have same IP address. Their reply was as long as they can verify the identity of person, they will allow account from same household, same residential address and same IP address.

It's only softbooks who offers Bonuses to lure immature gamblers and have condition of 1 account per household.

thespeculator No, i have no problems... all good for me. better to avoid free version of VPN, try at leas a low cost one if you really want to hide your IP you have to use a reliable one, personally I am using StrongVPN
