Hello,
I would like to report an issue with JustBet.co (Bookmaker group) and ask if anyone has experienced something similar.
My account (ID: JB154529) was closed by management on February 19, 2026.
Support informed me that in order to withdraw my remaining balance I needed to complete KYC verification.
I submitted everything they requested:- ID document
- selfie with ID
- verification video
The KYC team replied once asking for a shorter video due to email size limits. I sent the requested video immediately.
After that all communication stopped completely.
Since then I have sent several emails to KYC asking:- whether my documents were received
- whether my verification is complete
- what the status of my account is
- how I can withdraw my remaining balance
No response has been received.
More than two weeks have now passed.
I contacted Live Chat multiple times. Support repeatedly told me to contact the KYC team and refused to provide information.
After persistent questioning, they finally confirmed that my remaining balance is:
€8,958.71
However, they still refuse to provide any timeline or update regarding verification or withdrawal.
Another concerning issue is that when I asked for the legal company name and registration details, support refused to provide this information and only sent generic statements about Costa Rica licensing.
At the moment:- My account is closed
- I cannot access my funds
- KYC does not respond to emails
- Support provides no information
If anyone from Bookmaker / JustBet or SBR moderators could help escalate this issue, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you.

Thank you.
I specifically registered on the forum because I'm experiencing the same issue.
On February 19th, I couldn't log into my account.
In the live chat, the operator said that players from Moldova can no longer place bets.
Take your money and leave. But first, you need to pass the KYC check.
On February 20th, I sent my documents. On February 23rd, they asked me to make a short video.
I did it.
More than two weeks have passed since then, and there's been no information.
I've written several times in the live chat, but it's no use.
They say the KYC check has no time limit.
How is this even possible???
I've sent several emails to kyc@bookmaker.eu, but no response.
What should I do?

#741Hello,
It’s interesting that our timelines match almost exactly. My account was also closed on February 19th. Just the reason in my case is “management decision”.
An SBR admin gave me a management contact and I did receive a brief reply saying that my account is currently “under review”. However, this is somewhat confusing because originally I was told that once I submitted the requested documents I would simply be able to withdraw my remaining balance.
In practice nothing has changed — the KYC department has still not confirmed receiving my documents and I have no way to access or withdraw my balance.
I have also seen several reports on other platforms where players appear to get stuck at the KYC stage without receiving further updates.
So officially the case is “under investigation”, but I am effectively still in the same situation.
Please keep us updated if you receive any response from KYC.

Hello,
I received an official reply from the Costa Rican Ombudsman (Defensoria de los Habitantes) regarding my complaint against JustBet.
They confirmed that they do not intervene in disputes with private companies, but they advised that this matter should be referred to the OIJ Fraud Section in Costa Rica.
So for anyone else stuck in the same JustBet / Bookmaker KYC / “under review” limbo, this appears to be the next official step:
oij_fraudes@poder-judicial.go.cr
At this point, with multiple players reporting the same pattern, I think it is important that more affected users contact them as well and document what is happening.

Hello all,
Small update.
After I received a reply from the Costa Rican Ombudsman directing this matter to the OIJ Fraud Section, I informed JustBet / Bookmaker about this escalation and forwarded the case again to KYC.
KYC then replied almost immediately, but only with a one-line generic message:
“We will contact you when our investigation is over.”
So after weeks of silence, they clearly were able to respond quickly once external escalation began. However, they still did not confirm receipt of documents, did not provide any timeframe, and did not answer any of the actual questions.
This makes the whole process look even less transparent.

#748Hi!
My current situation:
The Optional administrator (thanks!) gave me an email to clarify the KYC situation.
I received the following email:
"When can we do a video interview with you?"
In response, I wrote the following:
"Hello!
I agree, but I don't understand how this will work.
The problem is that I don't understand English at all and don't speak English.
I can only read and write text using a translator.
In the video I sent, I had to read the text from a piece of paper."
After that, there was silence again. 3 days.
I emailed Optional email again to clarify the KYC situation:
"Hello!
My name is Olga Socolov. Account BET********.
I responded with consent.
I haven't received a response about how and when this will happen.
Please help."
The following response was received from kyc@bookmaker.eu:
"We will let you know when we have reached that stage of the investigation"
What does this mean? They offered me a video interview, and now they're saying they don't need it))

I would not rely on waiting alone.
At this point, “investigation” looks more like a delay tactic than a transparent process. They can keep a case in that status for weeks or even months without any real progress.
If they truly want to arrange the interview, they can do it at any time. But in my opinion, staying passive only helps them drag this out further.
I will continue escalating my case through other channels as well, including OSGA and other public platforms.

I'm filing a complaint in OSGA and OIJ
I found another forum: BMR (Bookmakers Review)
It also describes cases of fraud with KYC.
I plan to register there and create a thread describing my problem.
We need to try to unite people affected by this situation.Comment -

#762"shill"...I guess you're accusing me of taking payment from BM for posting positively about their sportsbook, or otherwise being affiliated with BM beyond being a longtime client of theirs.Originally posted by OptionalDon't be the people who try and shill a business who is ripping off others whilst its happening... because "they haven't ripped me off yet".
Your accusation is false. Not only do I routinely praise BM's primary competition (BOL), but over at BMR, I was the guy who started collecting/collating information about BM's freezing of accounts about 20 months ago. I created the linked database below of player complaints to try to help the community sort it out.
Of those posters who had issues and shared with me their account opening date, 100% were new accounts. 70% told me they took bonuses. In 78% of cases, according to the posters, BM offered to pay in full via wire transfer. Many posters simply disappeared after the community asked a question or two. The overwhelming signal from BM was that it was freezing a flood of new accounts engaged in bonus abuse. Add to this the fact that many of the posters were obviously bearding the sportsbook. A recent complainant appears to be a 50+ ex-convict and violent criminal who "turned his life around" and is now succeeding brilliantly at sports betting with what appears to be a seven-figure bank roll.
I converse regularly with a network of sports bettors. All have been using BM for years and all get paid within two hours of request every time. Some of these players routinely take the maximum $100k/week out and it's seamless. In a world with so few good books for large bettors, it's important to offer praise where it's due. I will keep monitoring these threads and hope that all legitimate players get paid. The other thread disappeared. Here is a spreadsheet I made to track all public player complaints against Bookmaker/Justbet for slowpaying.👍 1Comment -

Hello,
That was exactly my experience too — for years withdrawals were processed successfully within a couple of hours and there were no issues at all.
That is why I would never have expected JustBet / Bookmaker to act like this until it happened to me personally.
Then, suddenly, my account was closed without any proper explanation, and now almost six weeks later the situation still has not been resolved.
So while your explanation may fit some older complaints, it does not change the fact that long-time clients can apparently end up in the same unresolved limbo as well.

#764Let’s talk about KYC for a minute. KYC is in existence to stop money gained illegally into being washed to legal money. No other reason. That means when someone deposits money in a book the KYC is used to check for the legality of the money. Once the book OR a Bank accepts this money it is deemed legal.
So the idea that someone deposits money into a book and then wants to withdraw either the same LEGAL money or money WON from the book there is NO REASON to KYC that money again. Therefore the reason ANY book refuses withdrawals because of KYC is total BS…..

#765KYC is to ensure each player has only 1 account. If a player abuses bonuses, his bonuses are turned off. If a player past-posts in live, his live delay increases. If the player is sharp, he gets an automove. In all these cases, the player does not like the book's action. He my purchase an ID (or 50) to open new accounts. KYC, video recordings of scores, and sending bank wires all make the practice of opening additional accounts more difficult.Originally posted by Brooklyn DickLet’s talk about KYC for a minute. Was simply asking you to not come in here trying to undermine several posters with active complaints that are not being addressed properly. This is not BMR. These are not "100% new accounts" or whatever excuse you are using to vilify these players daring to expect help or answers from Bookmaker.
As far as SBR is concerned all of our members with valid complaints need to be addressed properly and timely. That no longer happens at Bookmaker and it has become a clear pattern.
Leave the subject of this thread on their problems and trying to get some attention for them, instead of your "important job" to be a BM booster. Why was that important to promote in the middle of a complaints thread btw?? And you're not shilling ya say? Maybe take a more careful look back at what you posted and you wont need to guess about what you look like you are doing. You sound like you have a mission to undermine anyone you find complaining about Bookmaker. Sure some people are not bona fide, but your figures vastly exaggerate that issue and in no way apply to the current posters looking for help in this thread.

I was responding to Raiders's claim that BM has become a recreational book. Anyone in the industry knows that is an absurd claim. I have claimed regularly on these forums that BM is inferior to its main competitor BOL. Some promotion!
There is no undermining or vilifying going on. I see a total of two posters here having problems: tankvs and Socol93. Anyone else? Both are Euro-based accounts, correct?Comment -
