Alright thanks. And I can answer that question it would be a NO they would not refund him. So either way GTBets wins.

That is a danger at a lot of books if you do not read the bonus terms Canuck.
Again, I don't like the rule, it is a gotcha for anyone who does not know it, and SBR management will discuss that part with GTbets too.

We agree it's a funky, gotcha type rule and the winnings should be paid in full. Sometimes these rules buried in the fineprint are there as deterrents for professional bonus chasers and never enforced. We're speaking with GTBets management.

I will not put one more dollar into that sportsbook ever again. They just lost a customer.

I just withdrew a couple months ago $5000 from them after taking the bonus and did not have a single issue. I do not think in all the years i have played there on a withdraw i have ever been screwed over . And the $5000 was won with a 100% cash bonus at the time. But after reading this it concerns me a little bit. GTbets is one of the places i always felt safe at .

Yeah not saying they don't pay but this is clearly a freeroll shot by them and they need to make it clear before taking action

Just as the player has the responsibility to read the terms, the book also has a responsibility to not allow him to bet above said amount. The fact is this is all happening AFTER the R.O in question is done, not during it. This is a bigger screw up on GT then anything else. They should pay him and then fix it so that it doesn't happen again. Cost of doing business. If this came up while the RO was still going it's a different story. Not to mention WW has a similar bonus promo I believe if you take their 100% cash match bonus you can only bet a certain % of the deposit amount. But WW also tells the customer every time when they are on chat to deposit and claim the bonus. That's good faith business. If GT Bets told him about this when claiming the bonus then sure Gt Bets shouldn't be in the wrong, but if they didn't, that's just bad faith business.
On a side note, I've never had problems with GT Bets, I've bet above my "deposit %" and finished RO and paid out multiple times, but that was a while ago. I'm quite shocked to see this situation as I've had nothing but good experience and customer service.
Hope to see this work out.

agree with the full monty here
in the middle of a rollover about 6-8 yrs ago gtbets cut my limits to something like $10 and made me make hundreds of bets... this is similar crappy behavior

This thread is enough to discourage me from ever considering GT Bets and their "GOTCHA" clauses.
I know they will do fine without my action but their behavior just illustrates that they will do whatever it takes to create a massive advantage for themselves.
Bottom line is that GTBets is unethical.
Common sense and fairness would go a long way here, GTBets do the right thing.
Ok since noone else asked...isn't Venditto a stiff?
If this is true... I totally agree. Anyone stiffing a book should have their winnings removed...
But out of all books that I really don't trust... it would be GTBets. You have to jump through way too many hoops for you to receive your funds. Not to mention.... numerous fees when taking a PO... Yes even with Bitcoin. Don't know why anyone would use them.

It's pretty simple, GTbets.com is looking for reasons to confiscate your deposit.
I really like this one, keep in mind if you take a bonus and play one of the below slots you void you deposit plus bonus. SLOTS for crying out loud, 13 of them. I bet they've confiscated thousands of deposits on this one.
Please be advised - the use of bonus funds to place wagers on the following games is not allowed: Baccarat, Craps, European Roulette, Chilli Pop, The Golden Owl of Athena, Legend of the Nile, Ogre Empire, Reels of Wealth, Sin City Nights, Spinfinity Man, Enchanted, Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, True Illusions, The Tipsy Tourist, At the Copa, and The True Sheriff. Players attempting to place wagers on this game using bonus funds will have any winnings removed and their accounts may be permanently closed. If you have any concerns or questions about our bonus program, please contact our customer service department before placing any wagers.
Love this add on too.
Please note, any non-deposit bonus has a max cashout value of $100 plus a $40 wire fee

They seem to be quite concerned with their bonus bullshit. How about they just MANAGE the house and not rely on a T&C to confiscate everything. If a shop is basing their stability on bonus offerings, there will be no pays sooner than later. I could never imagine a T&C with those clauses ever holding up in a court if they needed to. I'm sure the owners would bitcoin the fuk outta there tout suite.

Americans won’t be playing offshore to much longer once it becomes legal everywhere. Lines might not be as good but it’s 100% safe and you will get your winnings.

GTBets has credited $6,847.67 to Pat's account.
They have listened to the feedback. The rule has been removed from the site. The intention behind the rule was not to confiscate winnings, and in fact in recalculating Pat's balance losses were adjusted too, but it's nevertheless not ever okay to not pay booked action. In the future if there is a bonus rule like this, the software won't allow bets over a stipulated limit, so we shouldn't have a case like this again.
As to the casino rule someone pointed out, it has been reworded as well.
Thank you for all of the feedback.

Good job by SBR on getting this corrected for everyone. They had to add those T&C’s recently because I’ve never had a problem with them or VIP.

Won about 2k from GT bets when covid started and all major sports were gone.
Won it playing Russian pingpong and esports.
They told me to cash out and tells me I'm professional gambler and I'm not welcomed.
Seriously? Pro in Russian pingpong?
lol took my money and never looked back.
They pay but very squishy tight book.
Definately Not A book. More like C-
