    Whats the consensus on sportsbook.com?
I have an account with sportsbook.com and I am wondering about them cause they have a d- rating according to sbr. Is my money safe there?

Suprisingly, the thread complaining about their slow pay has dissapeared. It used to be on the top of the list with posts in the thousands. Personally, I would not play there at all. I would recommed that you just withdraw the funds you have there and join another book (B rated or higher). The thing with sportsbook.com is they do want to pay you but they run into many processing issues. I also know they have taken funds from players with their 'correlated parlay' issues amongst others.

If you are not using multiple accounts to circumvent bonus rules or correlated parlays your money is very safe there. They have had processing problems in past with payments which have lead to delays but they usually pay very quickly. I don't play there because my limits were cut to $100 and their bonus rollovers are high. I would continue playing there though if they had never cut my limits. Don't worry about your money there though as it is safe and you will get paid. I prefer sportsbetting.com.

          Possibilities playing there:

          1) Play > Lose > Give up betting you are not smart enough
          2) Play > Win > Get Paid (you got them this time)
          2) Play > Win > They steal your money (they got you)

It's a risky proposition, but a lot of the stuff they offer is worth it. Try one of their higher rated skins like BetUSA.

Im curious, why would BetUSA be safer than some of the others?

I have used Sportsbook.com for several years now, and until last year I always got paid quickly and easily. Then, last year, I tried to cash out two accounts after football season. Both checks I received bounced like a rubber ball. The first took over 2 months for my money to find its way back into my account. The second account's check, which was requested a month later, had the money returned within a week.

From what I learned here's the story. The problem with the checks I received was with the issuing bank, NOT Sportsbook.com. Because of our new laws against internet gambling funding and its interaction with American banks, the bank refused to honor the checks because the origin of the funds in the account could not be verified. This red-flagged the accounts and the bank refused to honor all checks submitted.

To Sportsbook.com's credit, they always answered the phone and begged us to please just wait, that we would indeed get paid in the end. Fianally, once the money was back into our accounts at the book, I called and requested to be paid via bank wire, and they agreed readily once we emailed the correct banking information to them. Once a bank wire was ordered, the money cleared my bank within a week.

Soon thereafter, I noticed that the Bank Wire option was available to all and prominently displayed on their website, I don't know if it is still that way. This was also free of charge to me.

So take the criticism of Sportsbook with a grain of salt. They may have found a way around the complexities of paying you off. I would have no worries about my money currently in their system, I always found them up front and easy to get ahold of in customer service and eventually things worked out. They have always credited my winning wagers within minutes and their accounting has always been correct.

I do think it is time for SBR to do another review, though. I'd like to see how others fared.

SB.com is an F Book. These thieves need to return stolen funds from players' accounts.

Durito is right when he says its a risky proposition. But betting on the Red Sox to win tonight is more risky. Don't f with them and you SHOULD be OK.

They are hard to assess. They will steal from winning bettors in waves, Sportsbook.com and then behave for the next year. From a business standpoint they are unorganized and make a lot of mistakes, which they can get away with due to having so many players and an invincible brand name.

Will Sportsbook.com Ever Pay Me Day 39.

I guess I'll go to my PO Box tomorrow. It just seems to make me more depressed to even go look at the little peephole to the back mailroom.

At least last time I got a Subway coupon. It was like two for one. So I went and ordered a 6 inch Veggie. Of course. And I got a FOOT LONG dude. Stony huh?

Sometimes I get postcards from my wacky relatives, they are always out traveling in strange places and they send me postcards from these trippy campgrounds.

Ok, I'll go look for my Sportsbook check tomorrow. I AM SURE it will be there. 'Alex' promised I would get it. cabrone

The consensus is that Sportsbook.com SUCKS! Yes, stiffing winning players is their modus operandi. Stay away.

totally a lie. I have been paid much quicker then A rated book and at no fee for months. They are a very good book although in the past people claim they stole for corrilated parlays and bonus abuse.

Don't corrilate parlays past post and abuse bonus and they are an A rated book from experience.

Jassy sports entertainment limited, is currently registered as domain holdings limited in willstead, curacoa, netherland antilles. It's a small island off the north coast of venezuela next to isla margarita. They have casinos and a lot of shipping yards for oil tankers. I've been to margarita and trinidad and caracas, but not here.

I do know that the local governments on these islands take their reputation seriously, and are proud of their small states. I imagine contacting the caracao island's government about sportsbook problems might cause some problems for jassy, including maybe another relocation.

They were hq'd in malta, but now i guess that's over. I'm looking into when this move happened if it did. It may have been very recent.

I do know, that you can register a business on caracao or most of these carribean islands, basically on ledger paper. It work's for jassy, or dhl, because they get a tax break.

Jassy chose the new name domain holdings limited, apparently so they can claim to have mailed checks 'dhl'

which basically can mean they write your balance on a tear of paper and throw it into the sea.

Of course, the caracao government can also tear their licence out of their ledger log and throw it into the harbor just as easily, if it seemed beneficial to them.

Right now the entire island is seeking independence from netherlands (amsterdam, dude). So dhl's presence there can be used for or against their bid, depending on if they ever send my f*&king check!!!
