#72Sbr ratings of bitcoins books is way off outdated and incomplete....betcoin is solid B/B+ book good live options fast payouts..its just odds are not as good as Fairlay period...if u can get -102 @ fairlay or -108 @ betcoin which would u choose...now if you like to parlay and poker nitro betcoin are great...i reccomend all 3 highly and are only btc held books id use
Sbr has Cloudbet is rated B my grade is D stay away
Sbr has Jetwin C+ why is it even on list? Should be D or lower since sports book been down all year last i checked
Fairlay not on list and its second most popular btc book amongst sbr forum players easy B bookComment -

#75Betcoin is the only book I’ve dealt with that ALWAYS takes longer than their posted timeframes. They say within 12 hours but mine were always processed 24-36 hours later. I would throw an absolute fit and they would say “we’ve been in business for years how can u say were bad blah blah blah”Comment -

#82I just signed up at this site. Like others I find it pretty confusing, but I have to admit I’ve never used an exchange.
But the high limits are intriguing. I want to get a bet down on a golfer to win the US open and the limit says you can risk roughly 500 mBTC or .5 BTC. Is this correct?
Nitro for example has a .033 limit on odds to win the same tourney.
If I place the bet for the amount I choose, say 200 mBTC risked, does the bet get locked in at the offered odds right away?
Or is it like horse racing where my odds can go up or down? Or does someone have to accept my bet (basically betting against me before it’s locked in)?
So in essence if I risk 200 mBTC on my golfer to win about 10 times that is there a chance the bet never gets action and my money is stuck there with nothing I really want to bet on?
And if I happen to win, is this book safe with what would amount to about 20k in there (I would cash out right away).
Any info/advice would be appreciated.
ThanksComment -

If you put up an offer for your 200mBTC at better odds, that will be shown in the queue behind the current odds. It stays there until you click cancel or other people accept your total offer..Comment -

#84Thanks Opti. Can those limits be correct? Able to risk Up to 500 mBTC on a single golfer to win with a potential payout of 5 BTC??
And would they pay that amount in full pretty quick if I won?
Nitro by comparison would let me only risk .033 to win.Comment -

#85I can't speak to that specific limit, but if you think about it, it makes sense that Fairlay's limits would be a lot higher than a traditional sportsbook. At Fairlay, or any exchange for that matter, you are not betting against the house - you are betting against other idiots like you and me. And your winnings are 100% backed by those matched bets. In fact, since Fairly works on commission, taking a rake from every winning wager, they should actually want you to win as much as possible. The incentives are flipped.Comment -

#86I suggest you set your account in setting to "taker" setting so matches Instantly only "Maker/taker" will allow you to save bets at your offered odds but I find that a bit more advanced until u get more used to exchange....Also many times say 100mbtc is offered at 2.0 if you try to match 500mbtc @ 2.0 sometimes it will accept more the the 100mbtc that is available plus then esp on major events it resets sometimes same price or it may change esp if you hit it good like pinny doesComment -

#87I did notice the deposit address to deposit into Fairlay is a mBTC address. If I send BTC from my Gemini account would it allow me to send to that Fairlay address, and Fairlay would just convert it into mBTC upon receipt?Comment -

#92Do you bet there? I'm curious how much liquidity they have now. I left during the bear market and while they offered good odds and seamless withdrawals, it was obvious just about every single matched bet was by the market maker. I couldn't understand why they weren't more popular than say, Nitrogen.Comment -

#93One of the beautiful things about a forum is that there are people at all levels of experience here. Crypto currencies are complicated, especially at first. And there are now different types of BTC. So not understanding that this just happens to be a unit naming thing seems like a pretty easy mistake to make for newbie.
So...like...maybe let people ask what they need to ask.Comment -

#96Dude, I replied to one of your posts a few weeks back saying I thought your statement that the Warriors were better without KD was idiotic. You don’t have to troll every forum I post in because your feelings got hurt. However, if that’s your thing and it makes you feel better have at it. It doesn’t bother me.Comment -

Dude, you don't own every forum you post in. I happen to post in them too.
If I trolled every single idiotic post you made, this entire forum would be littered with troll posts from me.
If I come across an especially idiotic post by you, I'll let you know just how much of an idiot you are, that's all. It doesn't bother me either.Comment -

#98Just joined and deposited here.Is there a simpler way to set this up?Or any way to format this differently? As of now, it is so annoying having to scroll through dozens of bubble pictures to find a matchup.Even if I narrow it down to say Mariners/Baseball/MLB/Overunder/Full Time, I still have to scroll through every single player prop just to find a full game total.Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated.Their layout is a flat out disaster. The problem is that they want to pretend that they're a prediction market and that sports are just one of the type of events people can offer future positions on. But they know that 95% of their revenue will come from sports bettors. They need to do a redesign that acknowledges that reality. Like you I figured there must be a way to filter things or jiggle the settings so the whole thing wasn't such a maze, but I looked and looked and found nothing. Fairlay...wake up! We want to make you successful! But you're making it difficult.
Here is a tip for Fairlay users to improve the experience.
In order to navigate the Fairlay site easily you may want to change the layout from the default "cards" to "table" for easier viewing.
Go to your "settings" (its the gear icon next to the magnifying glass) in the upper right side of the page:
If it lists "cards" change it to "table":
And now Fairlay will show a much more user friendly layout:

#99If you click on the offered odds, then up to the amount of dollars shown on offer is matched and locked in at those odds instantly.
If you put up an offer for your 200mBTC at better odds, that will be shown in the queue behind the current odds. It stays there until you click cancel or other people accept your total offer.
People can argue all they want about this not being the case, but I have both irrefutable evidence that it is currently happening, and an admission to this policy from the site owner.Comment -

Everything except navigating the site is great at Fairlay. I'm trying to show how anyone can make things easier by following the tips I'm posting here.
Another GREAT tip is to bookmark or create a desktop shortcut for the markets (MLB - CFL etc) you are most interested in.
Once you have customized your viewing preferences in "settings" ie decimal or US odds, "tiles" or "cards"and you want to look at the MLB moneylines for the full game on Fairlay
you go to:
(You must be logged in to your Fairlay account for it to work/display properly - if you are not logged in and use the link the "tiles" will display and not the "table" format.)

#102Once you have figured out the markets you are most interested in you create a shortcut on your desktop or add a bookmark in your browser for each one.
Then when you want to bet you just click the bookmark you created and you won't have to search for anything as the work has been done!Comment -
