#285I know you don't pay the PC as you have already mentioned it on the forum, but for the big bankrolls bettors out there betfair becomes a no no once the PC come knocking and the only options left are matchbook, sbo and pinny. I can't imagine any of them affording to drop pinny just because of a silly 5x rule. It will be business as usual for them and anyone who will want to benefit from their lines will adapt.Originally posted by Hareeba! No. It's disappointing that we haven't got clarification of the Real1992 issue. Until it is satisfactorily resolved I won't be making any further deposits at Pinnacle.
I would think the in and out arbers which Pinnacle says they welcome will be very significantly affected by this rule. But that won't impact Pinnacle's business.
I certainly don't pay 60% of winnings to Betfair. More like 3%. And only 0.75% on Asian handicaps.Comment -

#288Those who pay it are probably either traders, or they need the horse racing and that's why they can't take their business elsewhere.Originally posted by jjgoldMost bettors never pay premium charge at Betfair
The big sharp guys that bet on sports do it at pinny, sbo and matchbook.Comment -

#292I don't understand the deposit to be rolled over.Let's say I go pro with $200 and redeem $1000 from sbr, make some grand. Will I be charged on $200 as in $1200 or only $1k that I deposited through bet points? Want to be clear on somethingComment -

#293You'll likely get a dozen answers, all different, as Pinnacle has never fully spelt out how the whole scheme works.Originally posted by chidondollarsI don't understand the deposit to be rolled over.Let's say I go pro with $200 and redeem $1000 from sbr, make some grand. If you want an answer you can rely on, ask Pinnacle.Comment -

#295The $200 deposit requires you to make $1000 worth of bets before you can withdraw without fees. There is no rollover requirement, just a minimum to avoid a $6 fee (3% of dep amount)Originally posted by chidondollarsI don't understand the deposit to be rolled over.Let's say I go pro with $200 and redeem $1000 from sbr, make some grand. The 1k sportsbook cash will require 5k worth of bets before you can withdraw at all. So you will be past the fee free level by the time you complete that anyway..Comment -

#296Last I read was that the withdrawal fee was 3% of the shortfall in your wagering requirement. Are you saying it's been raised to 5%?Originally posted by OptionalThe $200 deposit requires you to make $1000 worth of bets before you can withdraw without fees. #297No, just a mistake by me. I'll fix it now to avoid confusion.Originally posted by Hareeba!Last I read was that the withdrawal fee was 3% of the shortfall in your wagering requirement. Are you saying it's been raised to 5%?
And where are you getting the bit about "3% of the shortfall in your wagering requirement" from? Unless I've missed an announcement it is still based on the deposit amount. 3% of the wagering requirement would make it up to 15% if you tried to withdraw without wagering 1 cent..Comment -

Deposit requires to be wagered 5 times.
Wager only half of it and you pay 3% on half your deposit if you withdraw. Right?
Think that's what you're saying and also what I meant.Comment -

#303That's okay to a point but one of my biggest concerns with the requirement is that it discourages one from making a withdrawal of winnings which in the past would have been quite appropriate.Originally posted by Bandito97exactly
The danger is that you then have a few losses and need to deposit again. You get no credit for having previously exceeded the required turnover and are subject to a new 5x and 3% fee.Comment -
