Not overly concerned with the Valencia-Bayern match. They may end up short of three goals, but I don't think it's due to lack of effort. The match becomes a play for the top spot in the group which still has its advantages with rest and rotation for the final match of the group without worry of the consequence. I'd say wait and look at the lineups like always. If the lineups look normal, I have no problems playing the over still. It's funny how conspiracy driven people are as bettors as if the two managers are meeting right now to conspire to play out a draw because the early results worked out to where that result is now advantageous. Valencia really has nothing to lose at all in going for the top spot because they have the safety net of beating BATE twice, so they own the tie breaker if they lost today and finished level with BATE at nine points somehow after the last match. Bayern is a little dicier since they lost to BATE, but if they lost today - then a simple draw or win next time gets them through. Again, I just see both squads looking for the W regardless of the early outcome.

Line moves don't always match results at the end of the day. Maybe I'm not a big enough conspiracy theorist, but with another match to go - the draw scenario worries me less today. If it was the final match day, I would be scaling back big on the over. But, it's not.

Lineups look okay to me. Only Valencia sitting Jonas is really a little surprising. Bayern side is strong and about the one that had been speculated on for this match.

I think a red card would certainly be a part of a fix. Gives more of a reason to park the bus.

If you're watching the match, they're both going after it. Like I said, if it ends up 0-0, 1-0, 1-1 or 5-1 ... both teams are giving full effort. Bayern has had plenty of chances, but no finishing. Sometimes goals just don't come, doesn't have to be a conspiracy.

Soccer is tough man. Hard to see value in the sport with it being so difficult to score and occasional fluke goals.

Shit happens dudes. Can't win every day. Takes special skill though to pick a couple scoreless draws when you had overs.


Always remember that Champions League gets progressively tougher as the group stage moves on or at least that's how I seem to remember getting beat up late in the round last year too.
