Our news media is overblowing and overhyping this Hurricane Issac
They desperately want it to be a Katrina like storm for ratings and viewers, and to drum up a story, but its just not, its a Cat 1, way weaker than Katrina, will cause some heavy rain and localized flooding but its not going to be the disaster area the media wants it to be, part because they want to split screen the GOP Convention with people suffering and a disaster area, then say "Why hold a convention and bash our President in a time when a part of our nation is in peril?" and part because they want Obama to swoop in, get off Air Force One and try to save the day.
There just isn't going to be the destruction or catastrophe here, so media will recycle Katrina footage if they have to to paint a more doomsday like picture.
