Really a lame deal becuase they constanly have coupons that are they same thing. It's definetly overpriced when you buy at regular menu price. I prefer buying pizza from various italian resturants than these places.

not a lame deal, yes it is easy to get 25% off menu for pizza but 50% is good, the best deal is the 12 inch bacon cheesesticks for $3

. BUt you also could get a ton of chicken wings cheap as well and they have good pies even if not super cheap

I found that if you go behind the restaurant most of the workers are slackers so they throw stuff out without taking a look around, you can get some real fresh vegetables and things during the shift and after they close the workers usually have some leftover pizza or other things...usually no chicken wings though they are sticklers about those things. You can get a couple gnawed on slices free....don't do this in the winter they are very diligent about keeping things snow/ice free and they will catch you.

thanks for the info guy. papa johns pizza near me is the worst pizze ive ever had. dont know if its that bad country wide, but i'd probably pass it up if it was free.

Really. The Papa Johns I get around here is the best of all the big chains IMO. If they didn't have Pepsi products I would always order from them. Maybe it is dependent on location though.

Where i live(rockford,il) I get coupons in the newspaper on sunday for a $5.99 pizza every week. I pick one up once a month becuase I don't really care for the stuff that much.

Just think........The pizzas are not that great at regular prices. With 50% off, they cheap out on the ingredients even more. I know how the system works in the pizza busiess. I have close friends to run them.

I can't do chain pizza anymore. We have two legitimate locally owned pizza places, so I feel lucky. Papa Johns isn't bad though if it's 50% off and youve got a drunk crowd to feed I guess. The next day is hell though. They probably went halves on this deal with the folks over at Charmin.

Challenge. I'm still waiting to have good pizza in Chicago - that deep dish stuff is crap.

What's more, the pizza in NY is going down the tubes also. You have to go where the dagos are, New Haven/Providence/Long Island - probably Philadelphia and NJ (if you must, but Jersey sucks.)

I'm sure there's good pizza somewhere in Chicago, but when business dudes take you to the famous joints holy sh*t they suck.

You make up for it with steakhouses and general nightlife. NY sucks ass.

Also, never had this "papa john's" in my life. And I probably won't as long as I'm not having McDonalds for Thanksgiving dinner.
