I wish I could... I have an 8-5. I work from home, but they can still monitor if i'm working or not due to Microsoft Office Communicator.

They "monitor" you? Are you in middle school?

I work for a telecommunications company... and they don't "monitor" me to make sure I'm working every minute of every hour from 8-5, but I go idle if away from computer for more than an hour, and it tells how long i've been away. As long as you get your work done on time, they typically don't care, but they can tell if you're online/offline and if you're away from your computer.
I woke up at 6 today, got a lot of work done, and have been watching olympics since 10.

What happens more often is that I set my alarm and then proceed to wake up a fukkn hour BEFORE it goes off because I'm afraid of sleeping through it, and then I'm fukkn tired the whole damn day

To be honest I live that predicament about 4 times a week. Set my alarm at 10 or 11 on the days I don't work early. Alarm goes off, I push snooze every 9 minutes for 2-3 hours then wonder where time went
