Blacks are unique in that their history has been one of over coming obstacles put in their way, placed their by other races. Blacks are just now beginning to realize their potential. That they're not gentically inferior to whites. That the only thing holding them back is their own culture, which can and is being changed. Restoration of black culture is taking place.

An environment that was inherited through a result of many conditions: slavery, prejudice, social/civil inequality, racism, discrimination. It's funny how people say (not referring to paulypoker anymore), "Oh, slavery ended 200 years ago!" ...but they always choose to ignore the civil rights movement was just in the 60's. While whites had a discrimination free 200 year head start, African Americans only been receiving a "fair shake" since fighting for civil rights. Before then, it was "We ain't hiring color folks!" or "A n**** is too dumb to become a lawyer!" "You can be a dish washer, or a maid. How's that sound, boy?"
Any one saying the black man is *only* down because he keeps himself down, doesn't know American history.
As for the Indian guy... He says at one point, "Blacks have had a unique experience in the United States, different from other immigrants." Which is true and he's half way to the answer, but then he says, "As a result of that experience they have formed a culture, a set of attitudes, values, and behavior. [which results in failure]" ...Umm.. Only blacks??!
So he says this is true for blacks and no other American race? So there is no other race in America involved in that same experience, that have formed a culture, a set of attitudes, values, and behavior leading to "black failure"??? One can not be a slave without having a slave master, so this experience couldn't have just affected only blacks. His argument, like many others, is very one sided and narrow minded.
Then he says blacks have animosity towards the government and he says it's illogical seeing how the government provided the equal rights. The government didn't wake up one day and grant equal rights. Blacks (along with whites who had the courage to stand up) protested and fought for equality. The guy is leaving out important facts to back a very shady argument.
This guy is not racist, he's just ignorant. He lacks the knowledge that will allow him to make a clear assessment of "black failure." (even though our current president is black)Comment -

Every tax season millions of dollars are injected into the black community with big, tax free entitlements on their tax returns.

But what part is trash? It's certainly not the part about Baskets. That is spot on. Baskets has done absolutely nothing to contribute to what he claims makes whites superior. So how is he apart of this superiority if he has done nothing to contribute.
I also know it's not about Baskets IQ. Baskets is racist. Racist have consistently score very low on IQ tests. So I think it's safe to assume, at best, baskets has a fairly low IQ.
So I assume you mean the last paragraph but I'm not sure what you think makes it nauseating trash.
I gotta run, haircut in 30 mins, but the problem is with blacks is not a problem that can be fixed with money, nor over night. We could infuse billions into black homes and nothing would change. It's a cultural problem.

I guess it's mainly this line that I find nauseating. Just about every race in the world has at some point been enslaved, occupied, hated, and held down. Irish, asians, mexicans, poles, etc. have been hated in this country.
I just don't understand how selling their own people into slavery, trading gold pound for pound for salt to foreigners, having more and more kids when you can't support yourself, and the list goes on and on qualifies as other races keeping you down.
Also, one thing I've always wondered. If being a slave on a plantation was so unbearably bad, why didn't you and your 200 fellow slaves just leave? Doesn't matter what laws about escaped slaves or rewards are out there. If 200 people decide they dont want to be on the plantation anymore, what are 5 guys and some women and children(plantation owners) going to do about it? Go start ur own town, grow ur own crops, train ur own militia. I'll tell you why it didn't happen. Because, regardless of how history books and PBS programs want to portray it, it wasn't that fuking bad. It was a lot better than being a slave in Africa and probably much easier than trying to figure a way to go out and support urself on ur own.Comment -
