I'm done. Never going back. It was bad enough having to pay $15 a ticket. Now you gotta worry about getting shot at the theater?? forget about it.... i'm waiting until the movies come out at Redbox.

i havent been to a movie theater of my own volition in literally like 15 years. It's because of the movies though, not because of the prices or anything else.

I have been to a theater a few times here and there over the years with chicks i'm banging or whatever because they want to go, and then sure I oblige, but thats it.

they say that the take for opening weekend was 162 mil. At $15 per ticket that's 10.8 million people (low estimate). with 12 people getting killed, your chances of getting killed were still 1 in 900,000.

And aside from that incident your chances of getting shot at a movie this weekend were 0 in the rest of the tickets sold.

I enjoy going to the movies. But the people make it hard to go. Little shit heads running around, talking and getting on their phone throughout the movie kills it. Parent bringing their little kids to See Ted (see my thread). To much bullshit going on

That's the main reason I don't go.

I went and saw Ted...Too many people laughing hysterically at everything, makes you miss some parts. And other people. If some guy has to sit anywhere near me, when there are other open seats it annoys me. Especially if some cun't sits directly in front of me, instead of 2 chairs down and leans his fukkin seat back. I throw a knee right up there in case he tries getting really comfy, give him a nice tap in the back of the head.

I stopped going to the movies just for the simple fact most movies for me just plain suck.Me and the wife and sometimes the kids do watch movies in the winter because of the cold and snow and the picture is so much better plus im cheap i would rather pay 2.95 then 29 bucks anyday.Im going to go see Batman tommarow in des moines so im a little nervous but it wont keep me from going just like after 9/11 i went back to flying again in fact i flew just 2 weeks after 9/11 in late september of the year and i admitt i was scared and nervous.IM Not comparing the two events.
