Both are fast, and neither one is much faster then the other. Basically the same on speed. I find Firefox less laggy and it makes it seem faster then Chrome, because Chrome seems to over work the processor at times.

It is all up to user preference. You can't go wrong with either one.

 Just stay away from IE.Comment

#32Takes away all the bullshit - so it has an amazing streamlined look and feel.Originally posted by onlookerInternet easier? Please explain.

It also has intuitive functions, for instance - I type p in the browser bar, and playerstalk instantly pops up so to navigate here I press p and enter - done. The auto-fill function is much more seamless and easy than anything on firefox. For instance, I press E (first letter of my first name) in one of those form fillers - name, address, email, etc. The whole form is filled out instantly.

And, the main web address thing you type into (address bar?) doubles as a direct google search (or whatever search you want).

You can also manage extensions so much easier. And, since I am an android junkie - everything connects to itself.

And that is off the top of my head. I was a firefox junkie for year and years, was very hesitant to move over, but after using it for a few days I literally feel like Firefox is almost as bad as IE when I went back to use it a few times.

 So damn slow and bulky.

With that said - I do get high usuage warnings from my anti-virus because of Chrome - rarely to never got this with Firefox. I would say that they simply shit the bed about the same, i.e. not respond become useless.

Also - no matter if I click on the close "x" or my computer freezes, or whatever the case may be - chrome saves every single tab I had open and will restore it with a click of a button.Comment

Slow and bulky? Not sure how.

Chrome's bookmark handling needs help. You can have a extra tab just for bookmarks, but I like on Firefox that you can hit Ctrl+B and the sidebar pops out from the left, and do it again and it closes.

It's all user preference, and I can't seem to stay primarily on Chrome. I keep going back to Firefox. Maybe one day I will stay on Chrome, but right now it's Firefox for me.

I just can't see how someone can say either one is miles ahead or so much better.Comment
