Going to see Batman at midnight tonight!

Just bought my tickets for the midnight showing of Batman tonight! Not sure that i wanted to see it so much, but my 14 and 11 year old really cant wait. I am actually glad that it is NOT IN 3D. Am I the only one who gets headaches from 3d movies?? I NEVER have headaches except while watching a movie in 3d!!! And the added premium ticket definitely doesnt make 3d worthwhile. By the way, I bought the last 6 tickets to this movie and this is the second one that sold out at midnight! We are bringing the kids friends to see the movie as well.




By the way, you may want to bet the over gross revenue for this weekend! The manager at the movie theater said that they have never had a movie sell out this fast. And they opened 2 other midnight showings and they have never done that before. By the way, a few months ago you could have wagered whether Batman would gross over 160 million or not. It will fly by that number in 2 days

Movie is going to be great. As much as I love the Marvel movies that have been coming out - this last installment will put those to shame.

Avengers had 3D....Batman will be most sold for 2D but Avengers made 207MM because of 3D sells 3-5$ tickets more

Agreed, the issue is that I am seeing theaters out here opening up 3:45am showings, and are literally giving their whole theater to Batman - it will be close. Mathmatically it will be hard, but it can happen. At +150 it is worth a shot.

Harkins might be running this 24 hrs a day this weekend.

AMC Empire 25......midtown Times Square Manhattan.....12 theatre screens showing tonight, all sold out last week. In Queens same story.....3-4 movie screens per midnight opening in three thetarers all near my house all sold out. I will go tomorrow to some nice thater in a rinky dink town and watch it.

Avengers is $40 mil ahead of 2nd. Hitting 200 would be an unreal feat to reach, but still fall short 7.5 mil

Batman is also longer than avengers and will cut screenings down by 1 a day in theaters showing 24 hours
