A friend invited me to go tomorrow to this place and go kayaking and hiking. I've never been kayaking and seen some crazy shit on tv, so I don't wanna kill myself. Is it easy to learn?

I've been kayaking on a lake..The people I was with paddled about to and fro' like they were having a blast.

I thought it was boring as hell, finally I just pushed myself and made it a workout.
