Nothing gets me more excited than hearing Pat Sumeral. I really hope the cowboys get some talent like they had back then. I could name every player that started. I bet I couldn't name 12 guys that start now.

Come on now, how can you not love Summerall?

There are certain voices that just remind you of a time....

Summerall had one of those----he and Madden were the best, but before Madden Summerall teamed with Tom Brookshier and they were a great team as well.

The NFL has had great voices over the years----Merlin Olsen and Dick Enberg calling the late afternoon AFC games back in the 70's.

And Curt Cowdy was awesome too.

And how can we forget the cast of 70's MNF------ Howard Cosell, Don Meredith, and Frank Gifford.

Today's announcers suck compared to that lot.
